Possibly the AIDS program in Africa.

Which would have been better if only his faith allowed him to support the use of condoms.

Name one other thing he did right. And don't tell me how he kept us safe as the worst terrorist attack ever happened on his watch.

Our economy is still recovering from the Bush years.

SPINOZA IS WRONG

“God is the indwelling and not the transient cause of all things.”

- Baruch Spinoza

JOEL: WRONG.

If G-d is only the indwelling entity in the cosmos but not the cosmic manifestation itself (by being its source) nor the transcendent being which exceeds his own cosmic manifestation and which rises above its own immanence in the cosmic manifestation then this G-d is some kind of entity that's conditioned by the cosmos in which it dwells.

G-d, by which I mean the Supreme Consciousness with its inherent Energy, is the cosmic manifestation, indwells in it and transcends it.

This reasoning makes far better sense.

Are you now justifying the Holocaust due to a lack of innocence? You claimed Jews violated
G-d's laws and invoked KARMA. Yet, you also claim they are not Jews.

Your cognitive dissonance is getting the best of you.

Clinton left Bush a budget surplus and Bush tripled the debt. Cutting taxes and not paying for 2 wars and Medicare Rx benefit. He sent innocent young Americans to be blown up and killed in a war in Iraq - nothing to do with 9/11 (by his own admission) and no threat to use whatsoever. He lied us into that war. And that's lie that cost lives and limbs and brain injuries. Then he kept us there and let the next guy worry about getting us out.

True about Bin Laddin. Clinton could/should done more. When the USS Cole was attacked, toward the end of his term, we were still working on just who had done it. It was a work in progress when 9/11 happened. Both admins were guilty on that one - fair enough. The enemy was elusive. You can't just starting bombing countries for no reason, as Bush did with Iraq.

We were losing jobs at 750,000/month as Obama was being sworn in in 2009. Were these his fault? Clinton's? Get serious. This has been reversed though not fast enough. This was a very deep recession and it's a very slow recovery.

W started TARP (and also started fast and furious). The stimulus money was borrowed to prevent full fledged world-wide depression (and currency collapse) which was accomplished.
Yes, things could have (and were on track to) been far worse than they were. W basically trashed the country in every way imaginable (inc our reputation and world standing) and then he handed the keys to the next guy "president blackenstein" (as bill maher says)

I suppose you're one of the ones till looking for the black guy's birth certificate? you know,, the Kenyan commie

Actually, it can be argued that most of our security state problems right now (NSA eavesdropping etc) are consequences of precisely thinking of 911 not as of a law enforcement problem (a bunch of criminal misfits who unfortunately succeded), but as a national security problem.

As a result, we pretty much created both the modern Al Queda, AND the modern security state - all a result of an extreme over-reaction based on fear and nationalism.

SPINOZA IS WRONG ONCE AGAIN

"The world would be happier if men had the same capacity to be silent that they have to speak."

- Baruch Spinoza

JOEL: LOL.

Spinoza was a man of inferior thinking and is certainly not a mystic.

He is under the impression that non-speaking (verbal silence) is superior to speaking and that this kind of silence brings happiness.

Far from it.

Even if one speaks less or keeps mum that is no recipe for happiness nor is it a state of silence.

A man can refrain from speaking but his mind will still be like a saraband filled with all kinds of thoughts all his waking hours and even during sleep the mental activity goes on and on like a Ferris wheel with the subconscient dominating the mind during sleep.

So, where is silence in non-speaking when the vocalized talking simply retreats into the mind as non-stop thoughts?

Man can benefit by attaining to the true state of mental silence which is the stilling of all thoughts which is replaced by a direct perception.

The thoughtless state is very difficult to attain to and requires a tremendous yoga on the mind plane that reaches down into the subconscient.

The state of pure awareness or the thoughtless state brings the inner peace and the inner happiness and conserves a lot of energy in the process.

This state of pure awareness is the true state of silence.

SPINOZA was another brainless idiot who lived his entire life in the mode of ignorance.

SPINOZA - A BRAINLESS DUALIST

"Whatsoever is, is in God, and without God nothing can be, or be conceived."

-Baruch Spinoza

JOEL: Words like IN or OUT are mere conventions.

How can something live in G-d without there existing a casual connection between subject (G-d) and object (individual)?

If one can live in G-d without a causal link between G-d and man then such a subject-object system will never come into existence since only a causal relationship can maintain intact a subject-object system.

Once we understand the necessity of a causal link between subject and object then it's easy to understand the logic that the object is nothing else but the subject itself in manifestation and that so long as the object lives in the mode of ignorance it fails to realize its true nature which is that of the subject and as such there's nothing like a living in G-d or any of this dualistic nonsense.

When the consciousness of the object opens up via yogic methods the ignorance dissolves and the consciousness of the object simply becomes one with the consciousness of the subject and then in this supreme state there's no object nor subject but just one nondual reality.

CONCLUSION: SPINOZA was man of inferior ideas and evidently he had not the least understanding of reality. Spinoza was an ass. Many such brainless idiots posing as patriarchs, prophets and philosophers have arisen in the world and such lowly human types (patriarchs, prophets and philosophers) have attracted as followers and admirers the dregs of human society who know nothing better than the teachers they look up to and are sailing in the same sinking boat as the ones they admire.

The surplus was due to Republicans winning the House. W did not start Fast and Furious. That was Obama. It was project Gunrunner under Bush and that was discontinued as soon as they realized it didn't work.

The financial collapse was due to the CRA and Fannie/Freddie purchase of sub prime loans as well as Clinton not regulating CDO's. You really need to do some research...

This should help...
