Man arrested on child porn charges

A Las Cruces man has been arrested after a multi-agency investigation allegedly discovered thousands of images of child pornography on computers and other electronic media devices in his home.

I did not read that in the article so are you jumping to conclusion? Or do you personally know something?

Since I do not live in Las Cruces and do not know the area maybe there is only one house on that street and that is how you would know.

Another investigation could mean anything. Was the same person under investigation for another reason and maybe that is what the comment means?

To me you are starting more trouble than you need to. Do you not have a life or job or is trouble making your only job. Hope your not on a jury, you read a newspaper article and your verdict is to convict someone without all the details.

Investigation means looking into. I see the same last name EGE and ROBERTSON…..so close.

Also, a pedophile prey on young females having consensual sex is different.

Instead of stirring up suspicions maybe you should be learning the difference or meaning of words you are typing in comments.

Maybe you're the one who shouldn't criticize someone for making a truthful comment. Yes, you don't live here, so you wouldn't know. Judas obviously knows the ins of this case as do I and it is true. Robertson was living with him, was arrested and Ege was arrested the next day. Ege was never initially investigated, but something tipped off investigators. I know more about it, but its not my place to repeat it and get in the middle. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. No one made assumptions here, we just know what was going on. You don't and you were the one making assumptions that Judas was wrong. Maybe you should be the one learning the difference before you type in comments.

I sort of bought into your whole withholding judgement based "unverified guilt by association" comments until you got to the last part about having consensual sex. I don't know where you are from, but sex between an adult and a minor is considered statutory rape in New Mexico. It is considered a first-degree criminal sexual penetration to engage in sex with a child less than 13 years old and may be punishable with up to 18 years in prison. It is a fourth-degree sexual penetration to engage in sex with a child 13-16 if the perpetrator is at least 18 years old and at least four years older than the child, this is punishable with up to 18 months in prison. These are the basic sentences and don't take into account if there were other circumstances to consider. An 11 year old does not have the capacity or legal right to give consent! This was pedophilia! Although the crime rate is lower here per capita in Las Cruces than most cities in other states, according to school literature you will find an extremely high rate of pedophiles living here in Las Cruces and surrounding area. Albeit it is the parents responsibility to protect children, however, laws are to enforce punishment for the perpetrators. Child molestation is a reality and far too ofter destroys the life of young children. In my opinion laws need to be more severe and a special task force should be administered to eliminate this addiction. I am willing to pay more taxes to enforce such laws and provide a healthier status for our innocent children.

i dated Zachary Robertson for three months, and I have to say I didn't see this behavior in him..or expect this to ever happen...but I can say that he was a sex fiend and wanted it whenever he could get it. If you want a picture of him just ask, I have tons.

I hope Robertson goes to jail for a long time. He WAS my bestfriend. But i ended up seeing his true colors after not seeing him for a year. I welcomed him into my home and let him sleep here and when i woke up alot of my personal items were missing that i had seen the night before.
