Donated microchip scanner returns more dogs home in Sunland Park
More lost dogs in Sunland Park are being reunited with their owners, thanks to the recent donation of a portable microchip scanner to the city's animal-control office.

"That goal, according to Chaparro and his supervisor, Parks Foreman Victor Diaz, is to someday have a shelter in the City of Sunland Park, where animals can be housed longer and residents of Sunland Park can have a local resource for finding lost animals."
And to hopefuly have a shorter time adopting an animal. Just got a dog from the Las Cruces one not too long ago. 4 hours waiting just to fill out the paperwork. Whew!
I almost thought they didn't want to let him go.
They kept telling me the papwork was in process. Maybe that's why more people don't get more animals. I've had less time waiting at the DMV!
