I dealt with Gino when I was working for 2 different building supply places here in Las Cruces. He once ordered some special order product incorrectly and when I told him he could not return it he actually told me "I'm gonna kill you". So I believe this guys has the temper to carry out this horrible crime.

That's the reason I didn't indicate the exact time that I dealt with him. I'm not going to give him the chance to remember. Like I said...he has a temper. I'm very sure I'm not the first or last one he has told that too.

Who cares about you!!! Get it together your comments about dealing with this man is not important for everyone to hear. Dont put your drama online talk to LCPD and keep your victim drama to yourself. If you felt threaten by this man you should of reported it way back when. GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!

Reading a Sun-News articles is better...and funnier than reading the Sunday funnies:

Exhibit A: "...he had no reason to be a suspect, his attorney said Friday."

Does some English teacher want to explain to us what this sentence means?

Exhibit B: "There is indication the parties were surprised," Nevarez said.

I'll say; I'd be surprised too if someone burst into my home and killed me.

Exhibit C: Sgt. Joe Reynaud said. "We do not feel that residents of this neighborhood should be scared in any way."

What me worry? Of course not. Why would I be worried that a murderer lives in my neighborhood and just murdered three of my neighbors.

Exhibit D: "...money's not a reason for homicide," he said."

Of course not. People NEVER murder people over money.

I rest my case.

this wasn't random. 200 g's is enough to get killed for. people die for much less. it was someone they knew, but the question is why? if thy didn't get robbed, then why?
I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being involved, like he ordered the hit.

Oh you haven't seen drama yet, just wait until attorney J. Arrieta starts to speak. As he has already stated,'people have never committed a crime like homicide due to money', huh, really! What planet is this man on?

What's the background of Gino Ferri? Some Mafia piece of crap? From what part of the country is he from? Does he know Philip Philippou? David Steinborn? John Hummer?

Mafia abounds here and will kill anyone over anything!

I can't believe Arrietta still has a license to practice! He must have made a name for himself in the last severeal years. Wouldn't you expect a "top knotch attorney" if you're a "person of interest"?

Funday Sunnies - you are RIGHT ON!!! I'm LMAO over here...

I like that Gino's attorney says, "If you're going to kill somebody, you're not going to wait four years." Some defense! Maybe Gino's slow...maybe he's lazy (as in a lazy guinea bas***d)...

"Oh, it couldn't be Gino, he's never waited four years to kill anyone! When someone pi$$e$ him off, he whacks 'em right away!"

Maybe Gino ought to not delay in getting himself a different ATTORNEY!

Also - which specific crime family is Gino with? Perhaps in the next story, they could include that. Of course, that wouldn't mean that he necessarily did it...(wink, wink...)

Just glancing through the NM District court dockets on-line indicate Ferri has a long list of court appearances on both sides over the years. He has rubbed shoulders with prominent people in the community. I'm not sure what his standings are with them now. I remember him from some years back and his sometimes shady dealings in the contracting business. Time, good investigative work and evidence will determine if he is involved or not.

I'm certin the SO will dilligently work this high profile case and bring those responsible forth for prosecution in the court of law. It is MY OPINION that they know the suspect but are gathering information to build their case to make an effective arrest that will stand up in court.

I want to thank all the posters! Although this is a very tragic event, the comments were hilarious! Four years to plan a(near) perfect crime? Hmmm?

Obviously the guy is out of money if he is using Arrieta....Otherwise he would have hired a real attorney, not one that should have lost his license years ago!

"They were good friends and they had a parting of ways over money and sued each other, but that's what people do ... money's not a reason for homicide," he said.

lol really? Last time I checked it was a pretty popular motive... good job counsellor, way to think before you speak,as usual *she says sarcastically*
