Isn't this the group that was going to build the algae pit near Columbus? Whatever happened to that?

Sapphire Energy and Linde Corporation just announced that they have joined forces....last week.(google "sapphire energy")
A Village official announced at a Columbus Coalition meeting early May that the refinery will be bigger than originally planned....7 miles west of Columbus.
NMSU is very involved with Sapphire's Test Facility on the West Mesa.
Local media has NOT followed this story, as well as the ARID Group's hydrophonic Greenhouse project....9 miles north of the Village.

Thanks for the info. It also surprises me that Columbus hasn't published more about this. They've been fairly active in promoting events and other info.

This interview with the man who has collected about 95% of known algae strains over a two year period should shed some light on what will or won't unfold through this 'research' in the timeline presented to the public.
No one has identified a strain that has a suitable ratio for producing biofuel economically. No new breakthroughs have stepped beyond what over 30 years of existing research has already established.

Great lakes delivers from UM
Grandma's pressure cooker will do the job. Now who is going to cut down the forests to get the wood we need for the stove?
Well then. Maybe we oughta go solar on this step.

I will! I drove my '77 GMC Sierra back-n-forth into town today to sharpen my 7 chain-saw chains; one trip per chain. One way into town is only a 1/4 tank a gas or 5 beers (hillbilly's metric conversion). So that's got'ta be, what....10 miles? Boring, except I DID run over two Mexican Grey Wolves and a Snail-darter on one of the trips, though. Should make great rugs in front of the fireplace.
Anyway, I've enjoyed the good laugh about Sapphire acutally turning a prophet once the Gub'ment grant dries up.
Now back to my slide guitar....
(plays)'Poor Black Mattie, ain't got a change o' clothes...
