This type of reaction by DASO is not exclusive to their agency. Many law enforcement agencies around the country are taking the fight out of their officers. Officers are becoming less aggressive in situations where they need to be very aggressive. Check out the ODMP and see the number of officers that have been lost to gunfire recently. You are correct when officers many times think about what their admin is going to do to them vs trying to stop an action that can take their own life. I have to say that I have been guilty of this action in the past, however that has been changed. Im going home at the end of my shift.....
Thanks for the back up fellas. This is crazy, i pray not but this keeps up and this county will have to bury an officer soon. Wake up people!!! The crap you post here unfortunetly affects the men and women out there protecting you, your family and your property everyday! These are men and women who are parents, brothers, sisters just like YOU. People need to support our police. Its a tough job, would you want it? Stay safe out there have confidence and FIGHT

That awkward moment when you are looking for your biological family and you find this story about your half brother. Question though, can anyone help me fine the number to either A) the number that i can contact the authorities in Las Cruces so that i may then be able to contact Juan Carlos Manquera, or/and 2) the number to the Evergreens Mobile Home Park in Las Cruces. Either or both would be appricated. Ive looked so hard for both on the internet. Thank you so much. You can email me at [email protected] if you have any information at all. Thank you so very much.

Crap happens and the first thing we think is that we need to have more gun control or more govt intervention. With 350 million people in the united states, there are bound to be a fraction of lunatics and yes, they will get guns and poop will happen. No level of gun control will change that. The crazy drug dealers in mexico aren't going to Dick's to buy their guns. The drug dealer in your neighborhood who's an excon isn't buying them legally.

Gun control is a way to limit the public's rights to defense. The criminals dont care, they will have guns.

You don't necessarily have to kill someone with a gun. Come on, how many hours do these guys spend at the range? Shoot a leg with a 45 and you'll have a crying guy on the floor. Last thing he'll think about is getting up. Then again, what if a cop stops you and you are legally packing, should he/she just shoot you? You know the intent? Sorry, the cops get sensitive about common people carrying guns and you can't just go around shooting people. Yes, being a cop can be dangerous at times and many other times it isn't. Too many people are shoot 'em happy these days. Cops are here to help people. Some arer very helpful and should be commended, others are just disgruntled or have the little mans syndrome with power attitude. Remember, "to serve and protect" is a serious job. Lead by example. You guys are supposed to be leaders of the community. There is more power in those jobs than the ability to shoot people or give tickets.

And hitting your target. Mine are paper, soda bottles, or... But just in case I have a CCW and carry always. It's called taking responsibility in protecting oneself. Gun control advocates are misinformed, uninformed, and don't see the need because they have not "had the need." Too bad it might cost them more than they want to give up. Me and mine- we made the choice years ago and stand by it.

No thanks to the clown under sheriff - great article by a often times clown himself today in Sun News - now we have validation that the top two clowns at the Sheriffs have no freaking idea of
what they are doing.

The top guys is not even a certified Law Enforcement official in the State of New Mexico and as such knows nothing about simple street patrols etc.

Wow do you feel safe Dona Ana!

Dona Ana County Codes Enforcement shows their political allegiance.

Just saw several democratic candidates that are still up in the county on private property but right next to the road.

They took it upon themselves to go after a Trump supporter who had his up on his porch area but
not any of the demoncrate signs that are still up months after the elections.

Come on DONA ANA COUNTY - know you work for a dumbascrap but please at least play it down
the middle and treat everyone fairly. Oooops that is not the dumbascrap way now is it?

Well well - now it all comes out send 8 Officers to a call that needs 20 that is the way
clown undersheriff Roberts thinks. He was a underperforming union shill Deputy and now
he is a well overpaid, overated undersheriff who is led by the unknowning Sheriff.

No wonder there have been several disasters all ready - the DADCC takeover led by the incompetent Roberts and the unknowing Kiki. Now we find out about a blown SWAT operation that allowed a
suspect to get away.

What's the next step - a real disaster led by the overwhelmed, overpaid, under trained and skill
clownbots at the top.
