I believe we are all trying get better things for Lamar. Our elected officials need to do more in attracting it to our area. Of course everyone wants to blame the economy right now, so what was the problem in the past..? We all know the answer to that question..I digress.

I have to applaude Violet. She put up with many many difficult issues and stood strong to her morals. If any one want to give it a try well lamar welcomes a new paper. If not sit back and shut up.
I for one found Violet to be honorable to her work and the work of her paper. She did not pick and chose who got letters to the editor in but printed them all.
the buzz will be missed as we all know Lamar is slowly slipping away. So we need to do something about it. All business in Lamar struggle from time to time, but when you are reling on people to pay their bills it can make this area one of the most difficult to keep the doors open in.

Goodbye to the Local Buzz as we will miss you. And my thoughts and prayers to Violet and her family.

The reason people leave Lamar is easy. There's no loyalty to friends and neighbors there. The community doesn't take care of it's own. There's no security for those who live there, everyone is expendable. They'll trade you in for the next guy crossing the bridge, won't look back, and don't care if you're struggling to survive. They'll use you for bait to capture the next victim.
