FOR NOW I DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TORNADOES BUT ONCE I MOVE BACK FROM ALASKA IT WILL. A YOUND MAN THAT WORKS FOR ME WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT HOW HE MISSED THUNDERSTORMS THAT COME IN AT NIGHT AND YOU CAN HEAR THE RAIN HITTING THE ROOF OF YOUR HOUSE WHILE YOUR SITTING OUT ON THE FRONT PORCH.

Why would anyone want to leave Alaska?

Gee pathetic, how about getting off subject on another thread?

If the weather is bad a weather service radio can be great. You can pick them up many places like radio shack. Check the national weather service website before the weather is bad and learn how to protect yourself. There are many websites with radar loops that will help keep you informed and hopefully ready ahead of the storm.

I have been to weather spotter classes and if someone has questions I may be able to answer or direct you to the answers.

Another example of pp's inability to stay on topic.
Better luck next time.

Are you going to chase a few tornados

I am waiting for you to answer what freedoms the Dems have given us. I have been waiting for that answer from the very beginning. When you answer my question then you can ask a question. I am still waiting

Do you have some sort of inferiority complex that you feel compelled to call people names instead of rational debate....

You are such a loser. How about going back to the threads you have already hijacked? Somebody might want information about severe storms and how best to get through them without being hurt or killed.

Just for the record I did not say you made a direct death threat.

Now what freedoms have the Dems given us?

There are two main reason I will be leaving Alaska. First the winters can be harsh and are long and the cost of living is out of control up here. Additionally with me being in the military I will only be allowed to stay here 8 years max. So, once I retire I will be more likely moving back to good ol' Lamar, Colorado. No sarcasm intended. I will be able to make my retirement dollary stretch much further in Lamar.

Hey AKBroncosFan. Great thinking. You are absolutely right about your retirement going further in Lamar. I moved back after 24 years in the AF and have not regretted it. See ya Soon and thanks for your service to our country.

AF MSgt Retired: Thank you to for serving and giving me the oportunity to serve in the AF as well! If I were able I would shake your hand. Although I am not a MSgt yet, I hopefully find out next month that I was promoted to MSgt. I wonder, what was your career field (AFSC) while serving? With Lamar being so small I am surprised to see that there are folks that retired from the AF. I know plenty of people that retired from the Army or Marines, it's nice to see there will be at least one person other than myself who will have retired from the AF. I do not know if I will retire with 24 yrs have to wait and see.
