Review: Laramie Valley Roofing

[STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY]

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!! He requires an inordinately large deposit and then, disapears. We have been trying to get a refund from this guy for a while now - will not return calls, cannot be located and secretary claims no knowledge. We are considering legal action and know of several others in our small town who have already taken legal action concerning this guy's work. Stay away - his price is cheap but NOT WORTH the headache! Do not just tale my word for this, do your homework on him first!

Contrary to the previous posters and their reviews our company has a good reputation with our customers. Our material deposit fee is not unreasonable, in fact it is an industry standard among most other contractors in this area and across the nation. We even know of some who charge a higher deposit percentage, and even some that require payment in full up front.

In closing let me state that all of the issues brought by these reviewers were taken care of in a timely fashion. In the case of Cullen1224 the issue was closed and dealt with BEFORE the review was posted. After it was brought to the attention of the party responsible for the post they informed us that they would remove their negative reviews and as of this date it has not been done.

The issue between ourselves and Laramie Valley Contracting (DBA Laramie Valley Roofing) has been resolved. The owner did return our security deposit HOWEVER only after significant effort on our part. I want to use this medium to inform others of our experience which was wholly unfavorable. The owner would not return our calls for an extended period and his secretary had no knowledge of our issue – we felt we got the total run around trying to locate the owner for the return of our money. We ONLY had an opportunity to finally speak directly to him after we accidentally ran into him on one of his job sites. During that discussion he became confrontational and aggressive – but finally agreed to return our deposit. Our experience with him was inherently displeasing and IN MY OPINION he is not worth the headache of hiring. There are other, more reputable people to deal with in Laramie. No excuse for not contacting us for an extended period -we got the total run-around and I would highly recommend you do your homework on the company’s reputation before hiring. The intent of this is to inform others of our experience. It is solely my opinion of the manner in which the owner conducted business with us - it is factual, non-malevolent and not personal.

I agree with u my husband worked with him and he was miss treated. and got riped off on his pay check he was the only white american on the job and all thoes illegales where allways drunk.

What do the other workers have to do with your husbands pay?
Are you sure that the other workers are illegal??? Are you sure they were drunk because I assure you not one of the workers that were roofing our house were drunk!!! Or is this just hear say??
Laramie Valley Contracting roofed our house and we are very happy with the work that was done and it was done in a timely manner.
