My father, granfather, mother, grand mother all had things that were weapons. My grandfather had some W.W.2 service weapons in the bedroom closet,my grandmother had large butcher knives in the kitchen from the butcher that was a freind of our family. There were 3 civil war era swords that my greatgranfather had upstairs, unlocked in his room.No ONE ever took any of these items when something went wrong like loosing a game!Or for any other disagreements!Even heated family arguments no one took to a weapon. These days it's done.WHY?Have we as a people become sooo sensitive about respect, that it's a reason to kill over it?Have we become a bunch of immature children that only solves a problem by killing.Does thinking through a problem hurt the brain too much?I'm glad I lived most my life during the years when people were more civil minded.Disputes didn't end with a shooting, maybe a bloody nose, but no one was killed over trivial matters.I said it before,we are regressing to a lower life form.Technology is advancing, people disadvancing.I won't be a bit surprised if coleseums are once again erected to put on death matches for us to settle disputes the way things are going,in leiu of courts.
Very well said. So sad that it true....

I live 3/4 mile from where it took place.I once lived in Lansdowne and went to the school just down the road from there. That was 1970.I've seen many changes since then around here. Most for the worse.2 other separate murders also happened in that area.LeCara drive and on a street the next block down,I don't recall the streets name.

A delivery/shop owner told me of an incident while on a delivery. He came across a car blocking the way, parked in the street, not in a parking space. He blew the horn and the driver gets mad.tells him off as if he had a right to stop traffic so he could talk to a girlfreind.Another runs a red light and gets on this guys case as if the red light runner has the right to blow the red light. These people get in a rage when its pointed out of their wrong doing, like its a right to disobey traffic directions!Everyone else is wrong! What the F**k do they think the lights are there for-decorations?But say they ran a red light and it ends up in a fight.Kaos abounds!I hear the word "Disrespect" alot as a reason to kill someone.Well,it's disrepectful to take away someone elses turn in traffic! The current attitude seems to be "as long as I get to where I'm going,to hell with the rules and evryone on the road.Only what I have to do matters."How ignorant!Today I saw a sport car,an expensive model, with a F.O.P. license plate, not a tag on the plate, but the plate itself was F.O.P. Well the driver got in a lane on Garret road, cleary marked "Ridgt turn only" then sped ahead of everyone else then swerved back to the left lane then back to the right.A fine example of ignorance from a person of the law.I hoped someone who does the same thing collieded with him.Poetic justice.Would someone like this find it acceptable to cut in front of you in the supermarket?Acts like this can cause another unsavory person, like themselves,to take physical acts to someone like themselves.I expect it to happen one day in front of me.2 jerks getting into a fight over "disrespect".One thing I have to say to these jerks-That's what rule/laws are for!"So everyone gets a fair chance, gets their turn.Which is what these jerks are doing, taking away from someone else! And when standing up to that, one may get stabbed by these selfish jerks.that think everyone should make way for them.

Even kids can seperate fact from fiction! You can't always take the easy route and blame the video games, or tv or music for real life.
You're right.I read that this kid didn't know what he was doing,so he shouldn't be charged as an adult.WRONG!At the same age,I knew what death was!I lost a grandfather, greatgranfather a year apart.I knew they were dead.At that age you know right from wrong. The only difference is the lack of experience that an adult has,or should have.My mom lost her father at the same age-13,she knew what death was.I played army troop games when I was 11 and playing dead was common.I knew what death was.I had pets die.I knew what death was.Now I read that this kid didn't realize what death was!Ha!B.S.!An excuse to lessen the charges.A 14 yr.old teen comes to my home weekly to do yard work.He lost his father 3yrs.ago.He knows what death is.I hope he is charged as an adult.
