Do not send anyone to the lamb foundation!!! once started out as a wonderful organization, turned in to hell for all of its clients. THey can not supply meals every day for lunch and dinner.They cant do wash properly. Most of all, they cant even get people their medication on time or the right amounts. PURE ABUSE!!! just ask oneone living at lamb foundation. You pay all of your check but 50 dollars and for what??? staff cant provide people with toilet paper or food!! how do they get away with this? THEY ARE UNLICENSED!!! do not go here.... u will regret it...they claim to be christian but when all you hear is f this and f that....guess again.....yet u have the landlord going to all different countries with peoples rent money!!! DONT GO HERE UNLESS THEY GET LICENSED OR YOU DONT CARE ABOUT TOILET PAPER OR FOOD......ridiculous....they ruin people!!!JUST LOOK AT THE STAFF AND THE HISTORY OF THE LANDLORD!!!! GETTING KICKED OFF SCHOOL BOARD!!! CRAZY!!!

The Lamb Foundation advertises itself as an organization that helps disabeled adults live independantly. What they dont tell you is that they rob their resdients of their dignity and hope. I shouldnt say "they" the problem really lies with their Director who runs her housing as a dictatorship. I mean this is the same woman who was kicked off of a school board for making anti semetic remarks, so you can imaginge the empathy she has for mentally and physically challenged residents. Just to give an idea of the hardships endured by residents LAMB does not supply meals, toiletries, or medications as stated in their living agreement. LAMB requires the resident to pay all of their monthly income except $50 for rent, no matter how high your income is all you can have is $50!. What can you do with that! They even charge extra to have the air conditioning on! If you care about your loved ones do not let them live there. I wouldnt let my worst enemy stay there and deal with the holier than Thou director who is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

I've reported them to L & I, the county and the state. All three offices have advised me that dealing with Donna Mengel is a horror as she refuses to cooperate. I've had a family member on wait lists for other, better, facilities for 18 months and pray each day I will hear from someone. I've reported the non-working toilet and no one cares. I prepare and feed my family member as there is rarely enough food to go around. I also supply her toilet paper and other "basics" that are supposed to be provided. She has been assaulted by other residents and this weekend her cell phone, which I purchased since the house phone does not allow her to call me (I live 20 minutes away!)grew legs and walked. Now, when I attempt to find out from Donna what they intend on doing, I cannot get her on the phone.

Things like this used to not happen in PA but ever since Governor Corbett got elected things changed the state is turning into like southern hillbilly states soon you will have dry counties, and higher pollution and higher taxes and no medical services republicans will destroy PA and I grew up in PA so it is sad to see it destroyed like the south where i live for now, But i will return to PA soon as can, Hopefully this republican governor doesn't completely destroy it by then.

Hello my friends!!!! If you're looking to get LAMB investigated I have an opportunity for you to file a complaint against them. After talking with an employee I found out that they dispensing medication through unlicensed and untrained personnel such as the cleaning crew. PA law requires that anybody that doesn't fit this list: http://www.pacode.com/secure/data/055/chapter...

are not allowed to dispense medications. I ask that you all contact The Dept of Health, Public Welfare and PA Dept of State concerning these violations.

The person I spoke with is not on the cleaning crew but gives meds to patients and has not received the training course every year as required by law.

Donna Mengel (out of the goodness of her heart) provided my family member with a "Free" Will. Her husband (routinely) provides this service to the residents. Here's the funny part... they make The Lamb Foundation a beneficiary in their passing. At first, this didn't seem so wrong, giving the residents don't have too much to pass on, as their social security is their income. But, then I realized that most of the residents have parents that leave money for their children in the lamb foundation so that they will have care provided for them in their absence. Mengle cleverly has her foundation as beneficiary, knowing that no family member will ever question inheritance received by their family in the foundation, thinking it goes for their future care. BUT, if that resident passes, the foundation takes the balance of their inheritance. I wonder how many of these "wills" are out there.

My mother been at lamb for years and she's never allowed to visit her children i am under the assumtion she can leave on her own free will i have the space for her in my home and i am her power of attorney heard they have bedbugs and my mom gets things stolen from her and they are intimidating her my mother is the sweetest person u could meet anyone know if i can pack her up and bring her home or will this cause me legal issues?
