On 9-10-09 we took our '06 jeep to Transmissions Plus with our check engine light on and trans was locked in "limp mode" and was told it's a selinoid valve pac in the pan and was a simple fix and would be done on 9-16-09. Finally got to pick it up on 9-21-09 after a complete overhaul (11 days later) at a cost of $1200. I didn't even make it 1/4 mile from shop before turning back. It was like slamming on the brakes as it shifted from 2nd to 3rd. Was told to go drive it and it should stop. It did, next day check eng light on again. So back to the shop. mechanic forgot to clear the old codes. Next day same thing. now it needs a Selinoid valve pac which was the origional problem in the first place. They replaced it and next day same thing. Now it needs a $525 transmission cont module.Steven said he ordered it but don't know where it is.And now on the 49th day I went and got iour Jeep and had to haul it out on a trailer. Barry Sanders Chry/jeep a can get the part overnight. The ower was the Mechanic working on it and he is never there. Took Jeep to Barry Sanders and the Computer was not the problem after all. Barry Sanders Replaced the transmission and It now has over 1200 miles on it and it works perfect. Now I have to take Trans Plus to small claims court to get my money back.Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Now I had to pay another shop to fix their mess.

Huge problems with this business. I was wondering if you won the small claims case. I never got any paperwork from them so I have delayed on filing a claim, but I'm thinking of hiring a lawyer and making a bigger case out of this.

Watch out for garages / repair shops that use overripe bananas, thick honey, or cooked oatmeal to quiet down noises in engines, transmissions, and rear ends of vehicles.

Yes I did win. Got all my money back plus court cost. Transmission Plus has since gone out of business and I want to think I helped that. I have talked to a lot of people about this and have heard a lot of them say they were ripped off there also.
