5 face burglary charges

The Boyd County Sheriff's Department arrested five on burglary charges Sunday. Three teenage men, a 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old Ashland woman were arrested for their suspected roles in nine burglaries in Westwood and Ironville.

first of all,i know people who was involved in this wether its a friend or family member thats not what matters. this article is saying they are charged with 9 counts each, i know for a matter of fact that a couple of these individuals was not involved in all 9 counts. 2nd of all im not that type of person to steal from anyone. i work my ass off and have since i was 15 years old. i know how to be responsible! im not taking up for these people b/c what they did was wrong, and i feel like you do the crime you face the time. they will face whatever time they get. our parenting needs to obviously improve! not letting children do whatever the hell they want to, knowing what they are doing and are at all times, controling what type of environment they are in, including the lifestyle that they were brought up in. the kids you have in your jail has had or has a fucked up life or has been brought up in, obvioulsy not a normal lifestyle!

William Hamilton spent time in REH and foster care. As for the economy, I know he had a job at McDonalds for a while. True, its McDonalds, not the best paying or most glamerous but it was an honest paycheck.

I think its bull crap that they dont print the juvenile names also. If you are old enough to do the crime you should be recognized for it. The problem is you can't whip your kids asses without someone yelling abuse. Also there is nothing in this area for the kids anymore. Unless you want to be a mall rat. Get caught stealing in my neck of the woods and you would be lucky if the cops got called. You would need an ambulance.
