Former BofA workers attack bank practices

Gabby Ornelas, a former teller at Bank of America, remembers the training sessions.

If you don' t have any other accounts you can't have overdraft protection. Banks are coming up with all kind of tricks to get overdraft fees. It's ridiculous for them to pay the larger payment then charge a fee for each of the numerous charges that come in behind them even if they don't pay the checks.

Bank of America tells all of their employees to sell, sell, sell, I think it's ridiculous and so do a lot of employees that work there. If you don't sell a certain amount of products each month the bank will put you on corrective action then terminate you. If the employees want to sell, they would have gotten a job in sales and not banking.
