I don't think that Robert Frazier has ever made an honest dollar in his life. He was sentenced to 2 years in federal prison several years ago for scamming people in the mortgage industry. He served time and apparently never learned his lesson. Why are people like this allowed to roam free and prey on unsuspecting consumers? Hopefully justice will be served this time.

Robert Frazier gave paychecks to his wife and kids each week to a total of over $15,000 a week. None of them worked there! He owns a house in Nantucket, two yachts, a home in Florida, six cars and all were paid for with RHD funds each month. He hired corrupt mortgage lenders and gave second mortgages for work he knew he would never even start to do. When things got tight, he cut his employees paychecks - not a cent was ever cut from his or his families payments. He owed all of his subcontractors millions and millions of dollars. His estimated stolen money totaled more than six million dollars. Then he tries to walk away from everything by declaring bankruptcy so that no one can take away his "personal" property. He even hired a manager to purposefully run the company into the ground so that he could blame someone else. He has ruined hundreds of people's lives and should spend the rest of his life in jail while his "personal" property is sold to satisfy his debts. By the way, the blank check given to a vendor was on purpose.

We had no problems financially with them and one of "their" financial guys was very helpful and got us a very low fixed rate at the time. Quote was fair and we pushed for extras when work was slowing in early 2005. As for the craftsmanship, it was OK. There are things I might do differently now but overall the work was fine (just SLOW). They completed several houses in our neighborhood and we are are generally happy with the quality. But the writing was on the wall.
It is a shame that others got bilked in the end; I hope he pays... I too suspect that he has another company in the area. I've gotten fliers in the mail with suspiciously similar sales lines.
