Pasco teens post more violence online

Land O' Lakes, Florida - More teens are facing possible criminal charges following yet another violent fight caught on tape.

I would say that all of the people in this video knew what could happen to them if they were caught and should be given the book.

I think it's pretty disgusting that someone from YouTube or Myspace isn't checking these videos before they are posted. These two forums should not be enabling these idiotic children to be able to post such trash. In addition, I think the parents should be held accountable also for the lack of teaching these children right from wrong. If a father can be sent to jail for his child failing math three times, then the parents of these recent teenagers should also be brought to justice.

I cannot believe the things that some teens are doing in todays age. Have they no self respect or respect for others? Where are their parents? I think these teens should be charged with assault and made to pay the price for their stupidity, because that is exactly what it is.

I am a mother of 3 and wishing that the bullying would stop. I personally feel like they should charge everyone involved in the fight as adults and send them all to adult jail. Then they should try to identify all people watching, taping, or aggrevating the situation and charge them as accessories to the crime and charge them as adults. If Florida would make examples out of all the teens we have seen involved in this kind of bullying, I am quite sure the incidents would lessen. I also feel like YouTube, Facebook and Myspace should also be held accountable and fined $100,000 dollars each time someone finds crimes on people on their site. This might help those organizations start to pay attention as to what they allowed to be posted on their websites. It is getting out of hand and people are being hurt!

If the families of any of these girls are not pursuing legal action then it is simply not the Pasco Sheriffs Office problem or business. The same holds true for the school district, it did not happen during school hours or school property before or after school. This is another case of arrogance by school districts sticking there nose where it doesn't belong. Hasn't it occurred to the Pasco Sheriffs Dept. yet that they have a really bad reputation for being a bunch of arrogant thugs. With all due respect given to the men and women of this dept. who are not of this type.

You are so totally right!!!! And so should that MY Space, also be held accountable for all these incite to fight postings, sexual invites and proposed violence against parents. I agree with "dear dumb criminals" that it is a good thing that these are getting posted so that there is a chance that these people will be caught. I was beaten up regularly as a kid by classmates, and the general response from teachers was "Don't be such a crybaby."

Kids have done this and will continue to do this with or without the posting of the videos - but with the posting of the videos, the right people can be punished. Then perhaps the beatings will stop.

I don't know anything about a father being jailed for his child failing math three times. BUT, I definitely agree with you regarding You Tube and My Space. They should CENSOR video before releasing it to the public. "Oh, but that would infringe on their (the idiots who do these kinds of things) civil rights." BULL. It has to stop somewhere, and if these idiots are not given a forum, they would not increasingly set out to sensationalize this type of behavior.

But then my question is: how is it any different when Tampa Bay 10 posts the same video? Doesn't the still image show enough? By watching the video from any venue, you are giving them the attention they want and are perpetuating the problem.
