I worked on John's house. He didn't mind telling anyone what a good Christian he and his family were. Oh, the irony.

This John you are talking about. Did he marry a Beaty from Jamestown?

Yes, that is him. What about the big crook from Clarkrange? There is one that he lives very high and he is ripping alot off. He is even younger than the Emery boy.
I hate that for Johnny, I thought he had done better than this for himself.

These guys did not do this alone. Hope the TBI did their jobs and everyone goes to jail and pays restitution. Click on the video in this link people.

It seems to me like the Emorys didn't want to lower their high lifestyle when construction was hit by the recession. The wife has (had?) a nice shiny Escalade with "Jesus fish" and "W" stickers all over it.

Greed's a powerful, but evil thing.

She should be locked up with him.You know she had to know something was up with him bringing home that kind of money.I hope everyone doesn't judge christians by the way these greedy people acted. I think it is worse to pretend to be a christian, than be honest about it.Someone in town today told me that her family was the ones who got on topix's about a year ago and down these people for attending to a church in Jamestown. They always say what goes around comes around.Well it sure has come back to bite them. Hope he gets a long jail term.

You have no idea if the wife knew or not, and just because her family done something, shouldn't reflect on her, I am sure some of your family members have done things that you don't agree with, should it reflect on you, I THINK NOT!!!!!! I believe you are being judgemental, take your own advice!!!!!!

Maybe the wife didn't know but if she truly is a Christian, she would have surrendered her vehicle and put the funds towards the many people that were "robbed". If it had been you or your family, you may have a different opinion. The future homes of retirees and families, their hopes and their dreams are gone. There is no doubt in the minds of many that the spouses, the book keeper, the accountant, management and maybe some crew personnel knew of the misuse of funds. I'm glad they are enjoying the luxuries of their big homes, land, vehicles, credit cards, etc...while the ones at lost are just that...LOST whith no chance of recouping any monies. I met a victim of this and was surprised to hear what they told me. Do a search of USIG you may be surprised at what you find...still in business. The sad part is that they don't think they will be able to do anything unless they can prove the obvious. Hope the TBI did some serious investigating. These "Christians" are the best liars out there, hiding their deceit behind the Holy Bible.

I am by no means excusing what has happened, it is horrible and feel very sorry for the people who have lost, my question is....do you really know what is going on in his families life right now, do you know if she still has the vehicle, how they are living, etc. I understand what you are saying, i just wonder if they still are living high on the hog, and FYI, i have no clue about it, just wondering if anybody does, or the assume they still are!

Dear Whatever...There is no assumption here. I had the unfortunate moment of hearing the sadness and pain of a victim. With their assistance, I was able to look up that USIG is still in business in a sister company. It's sad that all the same "members" are involved in this other company, they are making money, and the victims are still at a lost. Click on the link below and look at "get to know us" and look at the names and pictures. All the people involved are the same people involved with the construction company.

From what I understand they are ALL living very well, ALL of them. The employees in California and Tennessee. I hope they beleive in God and ask for his forgiveness.

His private residence had a theater in it, TVs set into the ceiling, heated tile throughout, a kid's playroom nicer than most people's entire living room, and even a front door that cost as much as some people's vehicle.

I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that these people were adherents of the "Prosperity Gospel." I've personally witnessed this level of greed in many so-called "Christians."

It's sad to think that church never instilled within them the necessary conscience or Holy Spirit to convince them that they were doing something very wrong and injurious to others, but it seems all church did for them was give them some sort of twisted justification for doing what they did. They must have perceived themselves to be of above average piety and righteousness just because of their church attendance and the fact that they put "Jesus fish" on their vehicles (along with the "W" stickers).

I wonder what the percentage of "good, Christian Republicans" is who are sitting in prison for white collar crimes.

This is the sad part. When people look at these people and think all Christians are this way.No if you are a born agan christian,You wouldn't want this in your life. I hope these people go to prison for a long time. I hope the authorties sell everything they have.Greed is a big thing.I pray for all these people they have robbed.
