OK AP, Lets start at the begining. Here is a list of questions your "staff" should have asked.
Was the officer that was killed the first on scene?
Were any other officers present when he was killed?
Was the officer fired at upon arrival?
Did he request back up and was it dispatched?
How soon after the request did they arrive?
Was the 3rd victim shot by the police?
Were any other police officers involved in the shooting?
Were there any other individuals at the scene of the shooting?
Did any other officers fire their weapons?
Your staff seem to not understand they were hired to report the news and if they don't ask questions, the public is left with worthless stories such as this one.

Thanks, VT...I'm still scratching my head.

What is sad about this is they already have a witness saying that a police officer admitted to shooting the wrong person. I personally know the guy who was shot on accident. Jeremy Mcmillan y7ou will be missed.
