Suspect in bat assault case headed to trial

A Columbia man, who allegedly hit a thief with a baseball bat after he caught him stealing from his van, will take his case to Lancaster County Court.

I don't feel he should get any kind of punishment. If that idiot was dumb enough to rob someone of their belongings, it's their own fault. Why should you let someone just take what you worked for and hope the cops can get a police report right let alone find the person who did it.
