look i am also on welfare and my kids go to school too. it is a good program that daymar has. it provides a freindly atmosphere of a learning environment. it really is a great learning environment. it has character and it has a lot of class. it is the only one that reaches out to communitys so that they can better their environment. it is not accredited through all schools but it does have the necessary requirments which meet the standards to improve society rather than tear it down. even though its not a giant leap, it is a step up from the ordinary community college. it provides a nurturing environment in which any student may pursue his or her happiness and learn to make assumptions based on facts in this capitalistic society. humanity suggest that the only decent thing to do for them is to allow it to stay open and perhaps maybe fund it more often. the crisis that most students go through when first starting out with the difference of a university and a community college may offer the transition which is appropriate enough to make that leap from one to another. not being judgemental or nothing but the argument here should not be whether or not there were damages, but rather the qualification that the students from rural areas recieve as well as integrating with others who may be from a different stratification system. the influence may be a huge impact on society in as far as concerning the different various aspects in which one community college can offer a population who may not have ever known education. isnt the important thing right now that all should recieve equal and fair education to unilaterally improve the total quality of life. in so doing changing the environment of education so that it fits the quality standards provided to grow within any social aspect thus improving the economy. however there are stipulations that may suggest the amount of credits and the transfer of credits, but look at some of the posted comments. use that to build a repritoire aboutr a particular and move to the general. in doing so you will find a wide variety of diversities which insist upon the ethics and business practices found within the foundartion of daymar. it is a very proffessional school of thought and should be commended for the amount of time it has existed within the community. its resources provide an educational foundation that of which may be found within every part of the college.

it should be mandatory that the decisions made within the administration should be persuasive to the extent that either two issues will be raise. that either students who attended are owed by a legal obligation an amount of money or whether the obligation actually existed. ifr that were the case file a motion for production within the court. look at every record of attendance, by applying the accounting procedures, and then apply the appropriate accounting procedures to test the legality of the claim. if everything checks out then why is everyone so unhappy with the results of the performance. perhaps the main point or the issue at hand is not whether or not daymar is at fault but whether or not the right is awarded to the phenomenon that is the occurence of the event that a stipend check is awarded does daymay in fact have the authority to send it back to the lender. if im not mistaking it absolutely has the right, i am just not sure which administrative law gives them the right to do so. althought i think we can all agree that based upon the financial standards of the acounting procedure, provides a pretty legitimate reason to look further in to the matter even though the substantive value of the case relies solely on the findings within the accounrting practices. if the accounting practices check out then why not leqave them alone and let them carry on business in the appropriate manner. why set aside appropriations whenever there has been none awarded. yes the people there provide a freindly atmosphere. But what do the students do weith the aid. this may be a good idea to resolve as far as where the federal money should go, congress could probably use a cut of the money to pay the national debt. as long as the students continue to complain and file suit against the college i belive that only in opinion that the controversy may continue all in accordance to the amount of financial aid the state of kentucky is handing the students. i was a student there and never recieved a dime of a stipend. i am not complaining, i am merely stating the facts of the matter as i rightfully have the liberty to do.

well regulations governing the institutional eligibility define three types of eligible institutions, which include institutions of higher education, proprietary institurtions of higher education, and post secondary vocational institutions to be accepted formally according to specific characteristics by definition. This provides that the school is eligible to participate in all in all the FSA programs also provided the school offers the appropriate type of eligible program. Daymar is a for profit institution. Whenever restrains are placed upon students by devices such as accounting procedures, the operation of the accounts receivable almost serves as a program to cover losses especially whenever an accounts recievable or AR office is set up to perform receivable payments for programs such as tuitions options and new beginings which no longer exist, but a career success loan exist within the student ledger to account for a fee. (See also Sarbanes Oxley Act) Although as it may seem that way, certified public accountants must first make appropriations according to the standard of accounting procedure. The department of education is the administrative agency who provides the financial assistance to the college depending upon accredidation. In all honesty, daymar was located originally on bardstown road and brekinridge lane, in which it satisfied the standards to become an eligible college and expanded from there.

I think I don't trust this site anymore. When reading the posts I am getting pop-ups every few seconds. Now I am hearing some kind of static over my speakers when on the site! I am very careful not to click on pop-ups or emails that I do not know the source of, as anyone should be. Anyone else annoyed with these pop-ups???
One last word on Daymar...The problem in my opinion is accepting people who are not prepared for college. For example if a person scores a 5 or a 9 on the entrance exam then they should be sent to some community ed classes to better prepare them for the college work. I have seen many students set up for failure without any concern for the wasted money. If the student sets in class for a short amount of time then the school gets the grant money, or the student owes the money. This is deceitful and shows poor business practices by the college. Hiding the fact that you can buy books much cheaper from inexperienced students is also deceitful in my opinion! Best of luck to everyone and remember to always cover your own !@#

Daymar forces students to sign for loans and takes out money illegally. The teachers are also told to pass everyone.

Daymar has hired people to "manage their reputation" They are spending lots of money to get high powered pr going on to smear over their fraud and lies.
Expect to see people calling you names and making Daymar sound like they are perfect and anyone that has been financially and emotionally raped by Daymar because of their lies and deceits and fraudulent business practices will be portrayed as whining idiots out to make a quick buck.
Daymar didn't just hurt students, they crippled families and your kids because of the debt they put people in and the outright lies they told about the jobs they would make sure we would have.
In the mean time, they are bringing in new victims like targeting military people that have a lot of educational funds and every welfare mom they can round up and enroll with false promises.
Just make sure we keep up the word of mouth about this cancer in our communities and tell everyone we can to stay away from Daymar.

You are sadly and badly misinformed about Daymar. They prey on people just like you who are poor and uninformed but willing to go to bat for them. Tip: Using big words improperly in badly constructed sentences is not a sign of intellect or insight. I only hope you are one of the ones they are paying to try to put out positive spin about this sh-hole scam machine, and that they are paying you by the word heheheehhee

That would be almost funny if we weren't getting hit so bad. What hands on training? What labs? This school is such a scam and anyone that figures it out gets fired. If they try to help the students or answer any questions they get fired. How do you administrators watch your students getting messed over that badly and then have the balls to say we are stupid for educating ourselves? Amazing! To everybody out there that did their work, went to classes and thought they were helping themselves. Good luck and keep your head up. I was charges over 3000 dollars to find my own internship and when I wasn't getting my hours fast enough I was told to go sit in traffic court. How does that teach me to be a child's guardian? If you have been in less than a quarter or two get out now.

Tennessee Students Sue For-Profit Daymar College

NASHVILLE, Tenn.(AP)- Daymar College has been hit again with a lawsuit claiming that the Kentucky-based for-profit chain of professional schools deceived students in Tennessee about the quality of its degree programs and left students deep in debt with few career opportunities.

Eight students in Tennessee filed a $25 million lawsuit in Davidson County Circuit Court alleging the school with campuses in Nashville, Murfreesboro and Clarksville duped students about the transferability of their credits and forced them to pay inflated prices for textbooks.

The Kentucky attorney general filed a lawsuit against Owensboro-based Daymar in July alleging violations of consumer protection laws.

Daymar spokesman Tom Nunez said the accredited college will be recognized as an "asset and force for change" once all the details are known.

... an asset and force for change" said the Daymar dunce , I mean "spokesperson" Tom Nunez. What a joke!!
When all the details are known, that fraud diploma mill staffed with felons and theives will be shut down.
I hope the Tennessee students get every cent they are asking for.

They should all be ashamed of themselves for crippling so many families with their lies and deceit by puttin them deep into de bt for years with not much hope of getting a decent job with that useless diploma.

I don't know about Daymar but what I do know is that if this is such a great school and they are teaching people to be educated, then why the hell can't anyone on this stupid blog spell. I have only seen a few post that had correct spelling. One of them being the Asshole School or whoever is 2007 Daymar College. If that post was truly from the college or a professional representive of the college, then shame on them. To call someone a hoochy. Oh wait I went back and looked at that post. You can't spell either. Its HOOCHY and SKELETONS and CREDIBILITY..... oh, and proper punctuation and capitalization is important... Please if you an educator or a college rep. and can't spell don't try to make others look bad because all you do is look stupid and uneducated. Thank you and have a nice day. :)

To correct my mistake in this post. The last part is supposed to say... Please if you are a educator or college rep. Amd can't spell don't try to make others look bad because all you do is make yourslef look stupid and uneducated....

Also, want to add, even if your not an educator and you are a student or graduate from Daymar and can't spell then the same rule applies.... also, you should look in you own closet before you want to call others out on theirs...

I am not sure who you are or when you went to this college, but I sis read all the fine print, the loan agreements and everything else that was handed to me to read. No where in there did the give information on where elses you could get your books. I was informed not only in writing but also in person that the only books that you could get for the Medical Assistant degree was there on campus and at the time they did not have a buy back probram, and it was hard to sell to other students because they would use different books each term. As for the scrubs they were not aloud to come from anywhere else but Daymar. That was in my handbook. So I paid more for everything bu=ecause it came from them. And who are you to say that an Assosiates degree is just a step above a highschool deploma? Most RN programs are 2 year degrees. You need to step off your soap box and come down to the real world with the rest of us, because you are realling talking out you hind end. And before you start to jump in about how smart I am, I finished at Daymar in 2008 with a 4.0. I was a very well studied person and worked very hard to finish what I started. My degree is now reconized not because of the level it is but the school it came from!
FYI LADY! THERE IS A FEW DAYMAR CAMPUSES IN OHIO (I LIVE HERE I SHOULD KNOW AND MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY ATTEND DAYMAR!) THERES ONE IN NEW BOSTON ONE IN CHILICOTHE AND ONE IN JACKSON! ALL IN OHIO AND BEEN HERE FOR A FEW YEARS SO I DUNNO WHO YOUR TRYING TOO LIE TOO AND HOW COULD YOU LIVE HERE GO TO SCHOOL THERE AND NOT KNOW??
