"The union welcomed him back."
"Rev. Jesse Jackson offers to mediate strike talks"
...Earlier Wednesday, the Rev. Jesse Jackson offered to act as a mediator as tensions rise in the ongoing talks between the teachers union and Chicago Public School officials on Day Three of the strike.
Jackson met with both sides Wednesday to offer his services, he told reporters Wednesday outside the downtown Hilton hotel where talks were being held. The union welcomed him back, he said. The school board has yet to get back to him.
“As I said to both sides, if it means meeting all night long, let’s meet all night long,” Jackson said.
“There’s a standoff between both parties who are quite dug in,” Jackson said.“The sense of urgency [in the negotiation room] doesn’t match the sense of urgency in the streets.”

There is no human on earth quite as worthless as Jesse Jackson. Utterly a piece of crap.
