uninformed people that don't know any better! seriously next time u are there ask the manager if u can see the back of the house, because if the pizza is frozen and premade then I'm getting shafted cause I"m in there every morning mixing, rolling, and cutting the dough! Seroiusly people its a nice place, the prices are the same as the company prices. If you don't like the pizza then don't eat it, but atleast know the facts before u start posting lies! I hope eeveryone comes in and tries the pizza, i myself think that its very good, and possibly the best in town! I know that the atmosphere, and building are the best in town! A very nice addition to the community of Lancaster, Ky! But what do we do? everyone tries to rag on it.... why do this? why try to ruin a business? I'm sure that most people that read on here take what they read with a grain of salt, so please just visit the establishment for yourself and come to your own conclusions, because the things being said on here are not true! Everyone is free to have their own opinions, but don't state lies! Have a great day everyone!!!
Oh. You work there. I won't say anymore except that Godfathers is a chain and that they even sell it at the gas stations. I think the dough, their trademark is good. I am just saying it is pricey... for pizza... frozen fresh or otherwise. Have a great night yourself... and seriously people will try it for themselves regardless of what is said here... your right there. Maybe when the business gets going the prices will come down some, so everyone can afford to go there and try it.

Ditto Beth Ann! I was wondering if Dominos was gourmet or something... I would never eat it, but then to each his own. Oh and Godfathers is pre-made frozen Pizza... Edgewood has been serving it a long time now , 3 large for 12.99 with toppings in 35 minutes or less. I for one don't see myself going to the new pizza place...

I have to comment on this. GodFathers Pizza is really good. And when you order a pizza, you have to expect to wait for a little while. But there are major issues that are going to lead to their demise if they don't correct them.
I have probably been there 10 times. 9 times out of 10 I have had the worst service I have ever had in my life. The waitresses do not even acknowledge the fact that you are there, which makes you wonder which one is actually your waitress. The first 2 times I have given them the benefit of the doubt, they were newly opened, and busy. The rest of the times they were not at all busy, there were only 3-4 tables full, and there were 3 waitresses. Once they did wait on us, they didn't bring plates, or silverware. There are a few boys that work there as hosts that are great, in fact, I tipped them $5, they were the ones getting the stuff we needed, and refilling our drinks. The young kids that work there are by far better employees. I just can't see any excuse for the poor quality of service when there isn't a full restaurant. And it hasn't gotten any better. Just the other night, we went and sat in the bar area, there were smokers with us, there was 1 other table, and 4 people at the bar. The bartender totally ignored us, and would wait on and talk to everyone at the bar before even approaching us, or even acknowledging our presence. We waited for 15 mins. before she even came to our table. There just really is no excuse for that. I love the pizza, and the kids are really trying hard, but they really need to hire some competent waitresses, I've heard the life sob story of 2 of them, they need to worry more about working than trying to make you feel sorry for them. C'mon managers, get it together. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to wait tables, I did it for 25 years.

I agree with you...the pizza may be great, but the service especially the bar area has been awful. The hostess, a girl with long blonde hair and a boy have been more friendly and helpful than anyone else there. The bartender is just unfriendly, she does say anything to you and if you ask her for something, she seems bothered. They definitely need to change SOME of the staff with people that have personality and friendliness to survive the restaurant, customer service business.

I've never been there so I can't comment on the service but I wonder if all the folks who complain on Topix complain to the owner or manager. That is who you need to complain to. I really doubt if they read Topix. If you complain to them I'm sure they will try to make things better.
