This is why I do not watch the news or read the paper any longer. All it is good for is for puppies to poop on. Thank god for the AV Press or my floor would be a real mess! The only real news and truth today is found in blogs and citizen activist websites. No wounder the news papers are going out of business and having massive layoffs.

Its a shame that people are so intimidated they don't tell their experiences with the county or is it that the instances are rare.

A family filed a federal lawsuit against Los Angeles County. The County has now selectively cited the family for their fence in Antelope Acres for being too high. This is in-spite of the fact that a large number of other homes have fences just as high that are not cited. How is anyone to keep in their animals, keep our coyotes, and keep out thieves with a 42 inch fence anyway?

In addition, a couple with harmful playground equipment in their front yard, and illegal tenants in their back, were allegedly cited months ago and have not had to fix or change anything that one can see.

What is going on with this selective harassment by the county?

Just picked up kids from school. I counted OVER 20 (over half) of the homes I passed with fences over 4 feet. Doubt they are cited!

Since the AVTO filed a lawsuit I haven't been hearing any horror stories about the Nat-z team. Did they saw off their horns and back off, or are they being more than usually sneaky

what kind of lawsuit is it? If it is a class A action i know a few people that would get on the band wagon. I file a quiet title action suit , appeal and lost. I being defending myself for 2 years about a cargo container which i finaly remove going nowhere in court, They dismiss the case. Planning took me to court then when the case got dismiss i tried to sell the land and turn out that building/safety file the other violation against my land title. So now i may have to demo my cabin of 25 years . So there is nothing left to figth with. They throw out the constitution 4 time out of court.
