Today I pray for Southern Cal Girl and her friends in their time of need. I pray that you reach out and touch their hearts and comfort their souls, as the times are VERY tough for them, and they may not be able to reach out to you Mighty Lord. Today I pray for the loved ones and all those who mourn the homecomings of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. This was painful news to hear today for a lot of people. I pray that you open your arms wide Lord and carry us all in this time of need. AMEN

Today I pray for a bible thumper thread with some new blood (the same old thumpers have been proved fools time and time again) and some intellectual or at least entertainment value .

Failing that I pray that God opens the eyes of his blinded flock dwelling in these forums and shows them the true meaning of grace and love .

Today I pray for those who oppose me, because they do not understand me. I forgive their trespasses, as I pray for forgiveness of those I have trespassed against. I pray for the strength to continue to do YOUR WILL, and to relinquish my own misgivings. AMEN.

The "God" salesmen are doing their rounds again today. Once again they ignored the sign on my door that says "No Solicitors or Evangelists." so I decided to have a little more fun with them. Didn't have time to put together the same stuff I used to do (I was busy cleaning my birds cages), so I improvised.

I covered my right hand in KY jelly, and opened the door with my left hand. I then shook the hand of the first one and shut the door in their faces yelling at them to stop interrupting me.

Then I washed my hands and got back to work on cleaning cages.

I would guess that that particular "God" salesmen is praying for some soap right about now.

Today I pray for His Spirit to come upon us and to open our ears His voice, to open our heart to His love, and to receive His graces and mercies which are new every morning. It is pride that holds them back from the Truth, so TODAY LORD, I PRAY, YOU will hold them in your loving arms and rock them gently, so they may know it is not for me, Joseph, or anybody else that they can come to you to receive the Spirit and remove the doubts they have, but for themselves.
