Yes, stay away because your day will come when you, your children or grandchildren will pay. I knew a woman who practiced stuff so all her children would be married and never divorce; she closed their doors to meet someone better later. Who was she to decide for all her chilren?? Dumb people!
There is always God to ask whatever our needs are.
It does not matter if one is married or single, what matters is that we are happy and at peace with ourselves. God is the way. With God life is pretty good.
