The computers will replace books and they are the future wich is already here, and the children are our future. Now why you post your rant on here of all places, my guess is your kid did something on the computer and got in trouble or broke it and you have to pay for it. So in conclusion its obviously upset you and is stressing you out, so get yourself a cucumber use it to take that stress away or just go fu*% a random guy since your husband isn't getting the job done

Wow!!! I can see whom is concerned with their child's education. They say the apple never falls far from the tree, in ya'lls case "stump". I can see there is concern in this parents opinion, she probably did catch her child fn off on the computer, she's voicing concern... If your child is "the future" lord help us. I am an involved parent, and I am also concerned, I don't have low standards for my child, please make sure to have your child get my order right when I go to the restaurant, because obviously YOU are ok in just plopping your child in front of a TV or having them "play" on the PC instead of teaching them values.

the laptops are very useful for the kids my daughter has been able to engage in some awesome activities, group projects, and with the laptops those activities and projects were more effective ..think before you speak and if your such a concerned parent call the school they can give you more details on the laptops and nybigcampus program. I am glad my daughter gets to experience learning with such technology because I sure did not, its part of keeping up with this world we live in...open up your mind to new things

My opinion is based on a person concerned with her child's welfare/ future. There is NO need to bash someone for voicing an opinion. Trust me, I am an involved parent, I want what every Good parent wants, and thats a career for my son. You are right, she should get with the school to see if this child is abusing the laptop and put restrictions on them. But to bash someone for being concerned..... Really, that to me is just childish. Offer advice and help one another, don't be a jerk and come in here and kick her when all she is doing is reaching out. Smdh
