I totally agree with the photographer in this article.. The nudity laws should be relaxed. These people should have been told to take the photo shoot somewhere else, possibly indoors and the police should have went about their business of arresting thieves, drug pushers, people shooting each other, and controlling gang activity. But then the policeman wouldn't have gotten any press time, would he?? Or is the city that hard up for money that they had to charge and probably fine the people involved?

"...were a nude woman and a man, fully clothed, with a camera"
Grammar for cripes sake Morning Call: were a nude woman and a fully clothed man with a camera.

Being 56 doesn't make you old and wrinkly. She probably looks better than you. And when you're 56 remember what you said here. I think its disgusting how our society treats and talks about anyone not model perfect and under 35. The body is beautiful no matter what size, shape or age. Praise to this woman for not being afraid to show hers. We are a sick uptight society with severe hang ups about nudity, yet every ad and commercial and tv show is geared towards it. . If you want to see how corrupted our minds are in regards to nudity vs: sex, live in europe for a few years, it will clear your mind to know the difference.

And how much time was wasted on this incident....The cop could have told them to take it somewhere else, and told them to watch what they were doing because of the young boys around. all the time and money spent on this incident could have been put to use arresting crack heads on the south side of bethlehem....I though bethlehem cops were better than that.

I feel sorry for you if you think that 56 is old. Wait until you’re a little older you’ll see things differently. At least I hope so. I hope they both continue to feel so free and uninhibited. More power to them!!

Was it really necessary to charge them with disorderly conduct? These charges should be dropped because they weren't disrupting anything, and no one complained about it. The only person that sees a problem is the cop. I'll laugh if some copper was stolen while he was citing the artists. Priorities people!!!

OMG a person without clothes! What shall we do! Since when did seeing a nude person kill someone? I also agree with the artist in this article,Americans are really uptight about nudity. In Europe they even advertise sex toys on their home shopping network channels as they would advertise kitchen gadgets on QVC.

It is hard to believe some of the comments written here. It is understandable to say art and the beauty of it has a place and I agree. However if this women was posing in the park across from your home naked, and your 5 year old walking to the car with you to go shopping on a Saturday morning saw her, would you not want something done. Who would you call? I'll tell you. The police. To say they should have let her go and that they weren't doing their job is inaccurate. That is their job. At the age of 20 or 56 we are adults and should know better. There is a place for art whether clothed or not, however along the side of the river in broad daylight is not the place.
