As for reality, how would you like "reality" to be today? As a WHITE person - by that I mean one of European extraction -- and a "middle-aged", middle class male, I AM SICK AND TIRED of being told that I am to blame FOR EVERYTHING that ever happened. GET OVER YOURSELF. It is CONSTANLY pounded into "white America" that we should NEVER look at skin color, but to looke at the person as a whole. That includes, but is not limited to, their obvious character, their qualification in the job market, their mannerisms, etc. And THEN, when "white" gets a job based on QUALIFICATIONS, and "NOT white" doesn't, we are then told that the ONLY thing we should have considered is skin color. MAKE UP YOUR FREAKIN' MINDS. How do you want it? Skin color an issue or not? And then people wonder why racism still exists......STOP WONDERING. Do you realize that there was a test administered to fire fighters-- of ALL extractions -- in New York, to determine the next level of promotion, that the few "African-Americans" that failed claimed the test was biased? Did you also know that the fire company was sued over this? They all reached the same level in the fire company together (white/black/hispanic/etc) but yet when a few black guys couldn't pass it, it became racial. WHAT? You mean to tell me that you would prefer to have an under-qualified Lieutenant directed firefighters on how to save YOUR family and YOUR home JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK? Seriously consider what you are asking for.....in all segments of society, because you are asking for mediocrity for some, and standard expectations for others. Just remember ... Sam, it is NOT about race, it is about facts; the offending parties know deep down in their hearts the facts are true, so they try to play the race card every time to cover their guilt; they know they can't win the arguement on facts, so they try to win the arguement with the sympathy arguement strategy, and try to make the race card out to be a the high trump card instead of the joker it in fact is.

Of Hispanics 16 and older nationwide, 44% do not have basic English proficency skills.

Between 1993 and 2005, free health care to primarily Hispanics (illegal & legal) shut down and sent into bankruptcy 60 health care clinics in California with more pending as the state was converted from California into Mexifornia; Kansas is not far behind into becoming Kansexico. Nationally, approximately 42% of immigrant births annually are to illegal alien parents, one or both; most at the taxpayer's expense. Illegal immigrants enter the USA with NO health screening, and bring into the USA serious disease syndromes once stamped out in the USA, such as TB, polio, leprosy, and now the swine flue epidemic started in Old Mexico ....

Illegal immigrants compose approximately 30%(as of 2002) of our federal prison population, whose incarceration is financially underwritten by the taxpayer's wallet (including yours, Sam), which is bankrupt already due to other problems, to the extent that foreign countries like China own us by owning our debt. In 2005 it was estimated illegal immigrants committed between 1800 to 2500 homicides per year; 92% of the cocaine and 65% of the meth in the USA comes from or through Old Mexico.

Each illegal alien costs the individual taxpayer approximately $55,000 per year, when averaged out due to reasons cited above and other reasons too numerous to mention in this post.

NAFTA (Clinton did it) has done more to destroy this country than ANY Muslim terrorist by sending the jobs out of the country, weakening our productivity, and was supposed to result in making the Mexicans stay home (illegal immigration has gotten WORSE), & cheap goods for the American consumer -- well the quality is definately cheaper, but the price is higher -- NAFTA is nothing but a failure !! So, Sam, now you know some of the ways how the schools, hospitals, and country in general is affected by illegal immigration, and the legalization thereof. And this problem is as damaging to African-Americans, as it is to LEGAL Hispanics, who have played by the rules to get where they are today.

Not only do we need to prevent any future amnesty, we need to REPEAL ALL past amnesties !!

Unfortunately, this problem has gone beyond the legislation stage of contol methods; it will take a war to reclaim our country.

Regarding Mexifornia, I should have added that whereas Mexifornia has been on the verge of bankruptcy numerous times over the last decade, the situation is so bad that this last past summer, Governor Arnold,(who, like many, refuse to admit that one of the major causes of their financial distress is due to the Mexicanization of the state), had to run the state budget on IOUs for a period of time.

Sam, do I see you providing your personal bank account number to pick up the expense tab of these people and activities you support ?

Then why in hell do you think the taxpayers should ?

This article is bogus. None of this really happened. Several problems pop up immediately.
1. I have never seen any reputable newspaper end an article with an exclamation mark.
2. I checked this story with the Victoria Advocate and they have never heard of any such boycott.
3. If a boycott were to take place, MORE money would be being sent out of the country, not less.
4. Trash on the streets???
5. Shoplifting???
Honestly, how gullible can people be? I live very near Victoria and travel there weekly and I never heard one thing about any boycott, certainly not as recently as August '09. I am really saddened that some ignorant racist faked an article that no doubt, many narrow minded readers will accept as Gospel.:-(

Well, you can see an example of it written as far away as Australia if you go to snopes.com and type in the word Hispanic Boycott. It is a Hoax and has been used naming different cities of the U.S. and even other races where there are illegal immigrants, as in Australia.

Has anyone considered a solution beyond a wall built along the borders? I'm a employer, and since the draw is employment, the solution is as simple as a income verification in a master file maintained by immigration (ICE).

Oh wait. That would require prudent intelligent leadership.

How does one "treat them" as individuals knowing that 45% are illiterate, 55% have dropped out from high school, and 60%have crinal records?
