This is terrible. We just had a fallen officer from Seattle not too long ago. This is a terrible world sometimes, and I feel terrible for the agency and the family members. They are in my prayers

Just watched an MSNBC video of a sheriff in Parkland doing a news conference, with several microphones in front of him. As he talked, two men and a woman continually walked around behind him and kept taking photos of the reporters behind the microphones. Now, I know that photographs of other reporters at a news event is not news, and I am sure that the photos these three turkeys were taking will not result in monetary rewards, so WHY? What were they thinking? And the man in the brown cap even put a stobe on his camera and took flash photos into the cameras of MSNBC. What idiots. One last question: Does Parkland have a concealed carry law? Too bad there was no one (civilian) to come to their aid.

My condolenses to the families of the Officers and at this time of the year when there should be joy in each house and the children who will miss their dad.

Hope they catch the person responsible and give him equal treatment saving the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in court cost and prison cost.

This person needs to suffer a slow death.

Well, we all know by now what happened. Kind of nice to have the bad guy shot and killed right away so we do not have to witness year after year of liberal lawyers trying to keep him alive.

My heart goes out to these 4 officers and their families who will undoubtedly have a hard time getting through this holiday seasons without their loved ones. They were minding their business and causing problems for no one. They were victimized by someone in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and intent on doing the wrong thing.

It's increasingly obvious that Huckabee made a major error in judgment by commuting Clemmons' sentence, and he will have to live with the fallout until the end of his life. The crime spree Clemmons was involved in also included rape, and that alone should have been more than enough to send him back to jail for good.

No no no... Anne. Do not fall into the liberal spin that it was all Huckabee's fault. He did not release that guy, all he did was commute (shorten) his sentence and then later the parole board released the guy. 9 years and two more judges went by before he shot the police officers. The liberal media is of course trying to belittle Huckabee because he and Palin are their worst fears for the next election. Do not parrot the party line please. Think for yourself.

Are you saying that the shooting of the 4 officers and then the killing of his killer, will save the taxpayers some money? Is that because the new hires will be hired in at a lower pay scale?

Because, if you saying the killing of the shooter is going to save the tax payers some money, you're way off base. They have arrested several persons who aided the shooter, including the driver of the car that the shooter was a passenger in. The driver of the car is accused of accomplice to murder, which is the same punishment as murder, which will be the same cost to prosecute and incarcertate as murder, but the beautiful part is that this guy can actually defend himself from this charge very easily and, since the murderer is dead by police shooting, the murerer will always be the alleged cop killer, the alleged cop puncher and the alleged child rapist.

No, he is not solely responsible, and this has nothing at all to do with my political affiliations. Without his intervention, Clemmons would never have been paroled, which he was at least twice
(2000 and 2004). It makes absolutely no sense at all to pretend that Huckabee doesn't have at least some culpability, since he was the Chief Executive of his state. In fact, he commuted more sentences than his 3 gubernatorial predecessors combined. Clemmons still went on to commit more crimes in Arkansas, and one time of parole violation should have been enough to return him to jail.

People in Washington State also dropped the ball, because Clemmons was released even though a psychiatric evaluation of him in that state concluded that he was a big public safety risk. He had 7 felony charges pending against him there at the time he was killed.

Because of the series of errors in judgement made by many people and institutions, of which Huckabee was just one, 4 officers are dead today. And it's funny that you should call this a "liberal" spin, since many conservatives are also criticizing Huckabee
harshly and denying that he is a true conservative.

Dead pigs is good pigs? Yeah, I've eaten some good barbeque in my time. Here in the south Bar-B-Q joints are all over, and though I have always been a steak and potato man, I have learned to really like Pork, the other white meat. Now surely, "Fight the Power" you were talking about Bar B Q, right? I mean, like no one could be so stupid as to imply that a dead cop is a good cop. Only an idiot would say that. Oh, and I am not afraid to use my real name. I stand behind anything I say. Now reply and hide behind your phony label, a-hole.

Everyday they risk their lives for people, including assholes like you. Why don't you grow up and recognize that these people are humans and deserve every right in the world and you are the type of person who deserves nothing.
