It says something about divorce. Does anyone know all the details to this story? Did he try to murder her or was it an accident? I've read conflicting stories that say it was an accident and others that say it was intentional.

It was a murder/suicide attempt where they both lived.

I thought it said in the article that he turned the gun on himself? I couldn't read the whole article because of all the advertisements in the way. I am glad this woman has a positive attitude after all that she has been through! Bless her heart.

Great that this is bringing attention to organ donation however why isnt it bringing attention to domestic violence? More people are impacted everyday by domestic violence than by organ donation. While organ donation is important most people do not die a brain death which is a requirement for being a donor. Something like 2% of people die that way. Its not feasible to keep up with demand for organs unless we resort to what the Chinese do which is excecute petty criminals and harvest their organs.

While this is a truly amazing and heartwarming story and I am extremely happy for her lifechanging surgery I hope she has a safety plan in place in case the scum-bag-soon-to-be-ex husband decides to pay her a visit and (God forbid) finish his plan. I am proud of her for her courage and outlook. Good luck to her.

Alludes all! If we knew the affect of the mental aspect of it it maybe Summer ( Inman) would be alive!
However we believe there are many sides to a life that often a person = women or man may struggle to walk away from.

For more reason then 1. Primary reason is no finicial way out,low self worth and no where to turn.

I would suggest reaching out to people in proverty would be a start!

May take 5 times but is it worth it? absolutly!
