This story sounds kinda funny. The side door was found open when she got home, and the envelope with all the money was gone?? Was anything else missing in the home, like a TV, Computer, etc?? Was the side door broken into?? I'm not an expert on theft, but I'm sure that if someone "broke" into a home, to find "just an envelope" of money, more items in the home would have been taken. In my opinion, it sounds like this person "Angela Wolosyn" took the money for other uses, and then she is pleading with the news that someone stole the money, hopeing that others will come to the rescue and "donate" money for the Troop. Now, if this money was really stolen, I apologize for this post, other than to say "Angela" was stupid for telling "whomever" that they raised a $1000 for selling cookies, and not placing it in a secure location in her Rented living space...

Our neighborhood pool association had a similar problem. Person taking the membership $ had her home robbed and the robber took the membership $. Never suspected her until a couple years later when we found out she was stealing money from the association. Then we found out she already had a criminal record for doing the same thing to another non-profit. A simple check of the county's clerk of courts website would have told us we had a problem but no one thought to check.

It's sad when people don't have any money at all and cant admit they need help. Some people would rather steal from children doing honest work (for their age) than to go to Job and Family Services or get a job at McD's and doing honest work themselves. I'd rather be at the welfare office with my head held halfway high than be in jail for stealing from the girlscoots. Some ppl get desparate when its to late.it sounds like the mother spends to much money on material things and than when it comes to paying for something thats a nessacity..then she got desparate. who would leave an envelope..knowing that ppl knew she had it that day on the counter with the door unlocked. Its kinda hard to believe.

Just wondering is the same "woman" going to be overseeing the money raised or donated to replace the missing $1000??

I have to admit I would think about taking the $1000 myself and making up the same lame story. I love doing a few grams of blow when the kids are at the in-laws.

No way--did not happen! It does not take a "Sherlock Holmes" to figure this one out. How "dumb" does she think people are? Regardless, if she was entrusted with the money and did not utilize "extreme care" in securing it, she is responsible for replacing it, just the same.

The lady comes home, her door is open, and nothing is stolen but an envelope full of girl scout cookie money??? I'm not saying SHE did it, but it sure doesn't sound like a random break-in.
