anyone that has been in Chaut. gov't for more than one term is the problem. I was in business for 30 years and no one politician ever stopped to see if they could help my business. They have ruined the country, the county and state. Business are moving out, there are no jobs. They continue to get large salaries for part time work. They get benefits for ruining the county. They don't want to cut the amount of representatives, reason, we can't talk to all the people we represent. Just curious, should the observer do a poll to see what percent of the people in the county have talked to their representative? I would be willing to be they have not talked to 1% of the people. Get rid of all the bums, hire a business manager. They are all liars. Remember the jail fiasco, we need more room to house criminals from other counties. How about the new court house. We need a new one. The court house they had is used less than a third of the time. A good business answer would be to put it on two shifts, 7 to 3 and 4 to midnight. 7 day a week, bingo save the taxpayers 32 million dollars. Social services should be the same, one office opened 16 hours, 2 shifts and use the carts system to get everyone there. Solve problems the right way not the Alstrhm or political way. Common sense when you have no money.

You forget the Union contract variable. Not saying I disagree with most of what you say, but moving shifts around is assumedly tied in with union contracts. Then, the grieve it, and you're paying for lawyers.
I really do agree that those legislators that have been there a long time are a big problem. They get too comfortable in their cushy little jobs. But no one wants to run against some of them. If they'd get off their a$$es and reduce the legislators number, they'd cover a larger area and maybe there would be more people living in their area to run against them. Why do you think they don't want to cut the legislature? They don't want to lose their jobs or have to run against anyone. It's not just Democrats or Republicans. It's both sides with a few exceptions.

Both parties, you are right. Work hours non negotiable. Most businesses set the rules for hours. So let's say I'm partially wrong. The part that I'm right on, they need to cut themselves, they need to cut spending and they need to use common sense. They should all post their personal taxes and financial statements. The reason, just to see how they handle their own personal affairs. I would bet that the most of them are in debt, most spend more than they make and most are not successful.. I said most, there are some good guys on both sides.
