Several weeks ago, I submitted an article that ran in the Chamber Corner. The topic of the article focused on the need for modernizing our local government structure in an effort to create a more efficient, competitive environment in which our businesses and residents can prosper.

Businesses will prosper better if we get rid of the Chamber and get an actual organization that wants to promote business and help people, instead of taking our money to walk around and pretend to be important.

when i was a teen, worked for store in dUnkirk an owner refused to bepart of chamber. When they would stop by, he ask them to leave
