Well I hope you does something about certain Carlsbad good old boys, buying bunch of water trucks pulling up to city fire hydrants tanking up full of city water for free.

And then selling it to the oil companies at a huge profit, city official insiders crooks making a lot of money off of city water.

Insiders they claim the water they are using is not usable B.S. a lie.

That's why they have water restrictions to have more water to sell to oil companies.

That city water field that was conveniently contaminated by the oil companies, that was a convenient accident Congressman Heather Wilson let them off the hook, then the oil companies turned around and sucked that area dry now they are after city water and they are getting it,

Bend over Carlsbad.

That's why Herry got out of Carlsbad so fast, he was aware of all this crooked Water insider B.S. going on, and did not want to get involved.

Question: Why would Steve give up a high paying position, and years of time with Intrepid Potash. To go to work for the City of Carlsbad, NM. Smells to me..

He will have 72 hours to prove if he is another chicken
shi$ local government official who leaves the status quo
of dominance and subordination alone or if he is going to
take on city council, the mayor, the unions, city staff, and powerful local interest groups to carve out a new as$hole for Carlsbad. What is it going to be? Another chicken shi$ little overachiever like 'Herry' or a maverick walking tall reformer? We will see!

Carlsbad Station, south entrance, 72 hours, come alone -

Correction Congressman Heather Wilson and Gov. Bill Richardson were paid by the oil companies, let them off the hook, for that convenient accident polluting a water field.

Big oil and natural gas money talks loud and clear to Carlsbad city officials, and they come running with the corrupt hands out.

Not only city official local good old boys and girls with money buying water trucks tanking up with free city water.

Time for an investigation maybe Larry Barker will light a fire and get the governor down here.

But I understand that the governor has something going on down here to, probably the same thing water.

Its comforting to know that those of us that are use to living at or below poverty will not suffer as much as those with all the money. Because their money is just a bunch of numbers printed on the bank statement. I mean when it ALL tanks and they figure out that even if they suck Medicare and Social Security dry there isn't enough to pay the interest on the dept they've run up trying to keep the CEO's rich enough to pay the lobbiests enough to swing the vote their way. Its way beyond contaminated water and good ole boys, its capitalism to screw everyone else, and it has nothing to do with Republics or Democracies. Their approach is to step on as many fingers as possible on the way up and only those that will kiss their you know what might get to taste what they drop or throw out. If they are in an elected position they should be replaced. ITS TIME TO PUT THEM IN CHECKMATE.

Bill Richardson had interest in CRI....a waste disposal company for the oilfields...got out and made a bundle.....the area around there has to be contaminated....just pass by it next to the halfway bar and see if you dont smell it....like Navajo Refinery....

These water leeches are sucking the area dry, when the water table gives up its last water then what is Carlsbad going to do,

They are doing the same thing to Artesia.

I hope Channel 13 Larry Barker looks into this.

Did either of these guys (MCutcheon or Tully) ever apply for their jobs and have to go through a selection process with interviews (like every other town and county does for their top jobs)? If not, why not? Was this their way of getting around the voters and the press? The newspaper always has a chance to write articles on the final candidates before any are hired. If there was a competitive process, I would have been interested to see their background and how it stacked up against the other competition. Did the paper drop the ball or did someone sneak one by us?

The City Administrator and Assistant City Aministratore are not and have never been elected positions. The City Council makes the appointments.

The reason why it is like this, they have to keep all of their crooked doings with in their circle.
And when somebody finds out about all this corrupt stuff they are doing, they get blackmailed into their circle. ""They are appointed""

it was also tully and bill sadler, who were both detectives, back on the night of feb 5 1980 when johnny volpatos wife got murdered there at the old corner drug store, they both were the investigative detectives at the time that eventually arrested johnny volpato for the murder, johnny had said it was 2 hispanics, that called in at night to his home needing a prescription filled, so he went down there to fill the RX, also his wife tagged along due to the fact, that she was sick and needed some cold medication,WHEN THEY BOTH GOT THERE JOHNNY SAID THAT 2 HISPANICS WENT IN AND DEMANDED MONEY AND OTHER DRUGS AND SHOT AND KILLED HIS WIFE, , JOHNNY ALSO HAD SOME SHOTGUN WOUNDS, BUT LATER THE AUTHORITIES CLAIMED THEY WERE SELF INFLICTED, AND THAT HE HAD KILLED HIS WIFE, JUDGE HARVEY FORT SENTENCED HIM TO LIFE IN PRISON, HE LATER APPEALED AND HAD A CHANGE OF VENUE, AND WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY, AND RELEASED HE NOW LIVES IN RATON NM,, maybe someone should let johnny know about this $200, 000, plus i year contract, im sure he would be more then glad to let larry barker know about it and hes closer to larry in albuq now that he lives in raton., also johnny at the time was councilman and mayor protem,
