If you have a kid in elementary school, there is a good chance you recently had a fundraiser catalog sitting on your kitchen counter.

I dream that one day our schools had all the money they needed complete with cost plus contracts and well paid teachers and that the pentagon had to pay for their $25,000 toilet seats with the proceeds of a bake sale held by the parents of our troops.

Public Schools need to be audited by a non-Governmental board! Where is the Tax money going?
How is it that, enrollment is down but spending is up? The state of Minnesota spends more on education then anything else. How is that Education Minnesota [Teachers Union] has millions every year to spend on TV ads telling us they need more and thanking Tax payers for giving more?
Education Minnesota has its hands too deep in the education budget! Is it Taboo to Question?

I pay to damn much in property taxes to feel any sympathy for the public schools. How about some accountability for where the money is spent?
