Lowell woman held on $250,000 in hammer assault
While the victim continues to slowly recover from severe injuries after being hit in the head 11 times with the claw end of a hammer, Jessica Garcia, the alleged assailant, was ordered held on $250,000 cash bail Monday after pleading not guilty to attempted murder.
