You should have been at the meeting J.M.they applied for a liqour license and got it.They are not from here and will be opening a liquor store here in Dunlap.I hope they are treated better then some people here since they are outsiders like alot of us.A little kindness goes a long way.

Nothing good can come of alcohol, but at least the illegal sellers (bootleggers) will be out of a job.

Most places they will start selling narcotics and justify it in their own minds. I want a big tax put on the booze to help repair families that it can and does destroy.

I have traceable family (Wind,) here for hundreds of years and that makes most a new resident to me.
The other family tree branch has been in the south east since 1849. 2 cents in his pocket Savannah Georgia. Malichi and his wife gave birth to many bootleggers and preachers, saints and sinners.
Another branch came to America in 1607.

My family tree is pretty bushy and keeps growing, we have even added a few grafted buds along the way. Mankind shares a common DNA created by God. we are actually, really, scientifically all brothers.(hey my capcha was 1776 funny?)

I personally know the three Kelley brothers and they are great people. All of them are loving, caring husbands/fathers. They are very good business men and will be an asset to the Dunlap business community.

The liquor has been in this town for a very long time. You can get anything you want from several stores in town. What is a shame though, is alot of our local officials frequent these stores often, all being silent of the illegal acts that are being done. I have seen police officers, attorneys, actually i think the owners of these businesses are or have been in law inforcment in Dunlap. Who can you really trust!!!!!

Well, with a legal liquor store now in town, there is no need for bootlegging. This new store will have anything and everything you want. The owners of this store are not holding any other positions in the city of Dunlap, nor have they ever. Everything is legit. Hopefully now no one will have to worry about trust. Maybe this will put these bootleggers out of business!

The MYTH that alcohol generates positive revenue sales is just that a myth.

A national non-partisan research group found out a few years ago that for ever DOLLAR of tax monet generated the community spends around $11.30 to combat the negative effects it has on the community.

The sales tax bit is simply the way they sell it to a naive public to get it to pass.

Which non-partisan group reports the figures?
