Man arrested in connection with elder abuse allegations

Savion Nkosi Hays, 21, of Orange County was arrested around 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Clearlake Police Department on charges related to elder abuse and threats.

"Hays reported various crimes against another elderly person by that person's caregiver, who is the grandson of the woman he was staying with," Hobbs said.

The complaint about his child was made by his ex----gee, we haven't seen false complaints made against someone by their ex.

If he is guilty, of course, we would all like to see him prosecuted, but hasn't Lake County suffered enough of these sensational headlines, and people rushing to crucify someone, only to find out we were duped and an innocent (and maybe in this case a whistlblower) life was ruined?

I feel so sick to stomach after reading this article. What a low life to take advantage of the elderly and see humor in getting their own child stoned. Hey buddy,“why don't you pick on someone your own age.”
I hope that Child Protective Services has taken the two yr old away from them and are in the process of getting her drug tested to support all the evidence they need to throw the book at these losers.
It breaks my heart that while in the Lake County Jail I have no doubt he will be housed separately from the general population to protect him. What a shame because I'm sure the inmates would want to play with him.

Damaging words can and do lead people to bad places, and to do bad things and to feel bad thoughts. Words matter. Words influence minds. Minds influence mouths. And hearts. And fists. And paychecks. And guns. Words matter. In fact almost nothing matters more than words, simple though they are. And so if words matter and words can hurt and do damage, how do we define that damage. And how do we define when we are participating in that damage. It is categorizing large swaths of people with words and language that hurt them, even if you have no idea why. It is questioning the morals of people when they stand up to defend themselves against language that seeks to further diminish an already weak social standing. There is a story here, swept under, of sups, leos, liewyers and others that put an old woman back in danger, later to die, in order to hide a property taking. The victim affraid to speak.
" I have a family,... you know what they would do to us? "

Like is said in posts... dont rock the boat, false reports, fishing expeditions the felonious way, baiting with perjurors at the ready.

Decided to type my name into google to see if this was still active. And since it is I will give a little update on the case. My last court case in Clearlake went good for my defense, the DDA Rachel Abelton and the arresting officer were both in shock when the elder lady and the elder gentlemen testified. The older women couldn't even point me out in a court room of about 6-8 people and my mother and I being the only African Americans in the court room. If someone threatens your life to the point you are afraid to live in your home you will not forget that persons face. She also stated that something else could of been said because she couldn't really understand English. The arresting officer even perjured himself on the stand under oath, because he knows that his misconduct will require him to be reprimanded.

This woman, her grandson, and all the "witnesses" are complete liars and are using her old age to their benefit. The real perpetrator is her grandson and his life is not being affected in anyway. My family and I have been sleeping on the couch and floor for almost a year now because of this case. We have paid tremendous amounts of money to go to and from California for court and I promise you all proper justice will be served. I have kept quite about this praying and hoping the justice department in Clearlake would actually do their jobs to protect victims in their town but it is very apparent that politics is more important in this small town to certain people. My family and I will continue this fight until my name and my fiances name is cleared and the real perps are punished for their false testimonies. I am a peace activist currently working with a campaign called www.knotviolence.org , i dont believe in violence in any way shape and form and I definitely would not threaten any ones life especially the elderly. And as far as the accusations about my son, the arresting officer forced a false confession out of me and if they were true THC would have been in my sons system when he got tested. It is scientifically impossible for THC not to be in his system based on the time span we were there, if we in fact gave him some Cannabis. Peace and Love to you all I hope you will see the truth sooner than later
