Whether or not Dinius was sloshed to the gills had absolutely nothing to do with the collision and fatality. It was all Perdock's fault and the "Standing with tiller in hand while drunk" charge is entirely another matter. Justice that cannot see this clearly is really blind and dangerously so.
well adrian i believe weber should take some responsibility for lynn's death. he knew he was too drunk to operate the sailboat and turned it over to another drunk. had he realized this and left it tied up no one whould have gotten hurt. if i was drunk and turned my car over to another drunk to drive and a injury or death took place i would be held responsible also. this is called vehicle negligence whether in a boat or auto.

Dinius who had a blood alcohol content of .18% two hours after the accident, drank waaaay more than a beer and a few tastes of wine.

Beland was fired because his testimony didn't match his report. Did he falsify the report or offer perjured testimony? Not that it matters, either is a terminable offense. He also didn't have a breathalyzer, it was a PAS device, there is a huge legal difference.

William Chilcott was paid a large amount of money for his "expert" opinion. Would he had received the same money if his testimony hadn't supported the defense theory?

The witnesses who saw lights on the sailboat all saw it more than 2 hours prior to the accident. At least 4 witnesses saw it without lights within a few minutes of the crash. Apparently you think lights can't be turned off.

All this time and you still can't accurately report facts.

A regular pattern of false reporting in Law enforcement, is Lake County history... and locals are very proud to be a part of the secret processes that are the core of their identity.

Professed religious, or honorable ethic is worn like a plastic halloween mask.

Delegated assaults, false and altered PO & SO reports, known perjuries...
death threats and gun flashing are ok if the flasher is a protected shill, or the victim a JOSE.

Delegating protected thuggs to do bad things is damaging to their psychology, and the community that professes to be of honorable nature.

Bismark Dinius and his attorneys are suing the County of Lake, the Lake County Sheriff's Office, and thirty-four county employees (in their individual and official capacities) Jon Hopkins, Rodney Mitchell, Russell Perdock, Dennis Ostini, Lloyd Wells, C. Brown, Captain James Bauman, James Samples, Wesley Frey, Dean Pick, Andy Davidson plus one Sacramento County Sheriff's Dept. Sgt. Charles Slabaugh. Attorney Laurence Masson alleges that the County's conduct was “unconstitutional and corrupt” following the incident and throughout the court proceedings, accusing the employees of “conspiring” or “aiding and abetting one another” to conceal and fabricate evidence and defraud the court in order to prosecute Dinius for a “homicide that he did not commit”. Masson argues that this is not only constitutes malicious prosecution but is also a violation of Dinius's civil rights as granted by Title 42 section 1983 of the United States Code.
All defendants are charged with Violation of Federal Civil Rights Statute (42 U.S.C.§1983), Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, and Punitive Damages. Defendants Perdock and Slabaugh are charged with Malicious Prosecution and D.A. Hopkins is charged with libel. The lawsuit was filed at the U.S. District Court in San Francisco with the assistance of Northern California Innocence Project, based out of Santa Clara. The case number is CV 103498. The Mitchell mob still costing Lake County millions.

Let us learn and not forget. David Stark Kville CHP Srg. has been posting statements to his friends such as: "we are doing the lords work here in Lake County" and " Nor Cal has been quiet for some time, lets get back in the flow...." on a social site used by millions. We desperately need a FULL Federal investigation into the practises of our esteemed State patrol. There are many fine officers, personally Im happy that Rivero took over, and Rassmuson is good people. BUT, anytime you have a person w a great "law" authority & they blatantly proclaim they are performing not their job, but their personal ideaology of religion. This type of rhetoric plays no part in the Srg.'s supposed responsibility to the welfare of the states citizens and upholding the law. This individual should have that great responsibility, mandated by the great state of CA and who is paid w tax dollars to uphold, stripped before their ideaologies become forced onto a democratic people. Who is to say that it may have already?
Tell Congressmen Mike Thompson that the people of Lake County,CA will not tolerate extreme religious fanatics as leaders of the CA CHP.

But none as devastating and costly as the killing and cover-up of Lynn Thornton by an off duty Lake County deputy.

The Bee is too busy rearranging the deck chairs. That case will stay open with HR for a lot longer. The hostile work environment case should make for more paperwork. Time to go paperless.

I hope that you will be consistant when considering a pedestrian vs. sheriff pick up.

Respect the right-of-way of pedestrians. Always stop for any pedestrian crossing at corners or other crosswalks, even if the crosswalk is in the middle of the block, at corners with or without traffic lights, whether or not the crosswalks are marked by painted lines.

another lawsuit. Was there a test for a DUI?

To think that our county's resources will be thrown away as a result of a purely political campaign..........is a tragedy.

Especially when so many in Lake County are jobless and poor.

The good news is that the "new boss" is finding an empty pot to grab money from.
