LVIM - Only if your lucky

As one who tries to make ends meet on my own sometimes it does not work out that way and you have to turn to help. This was in regards to getting some help with health issues.
LVIM (Lakeland Volunteers In Medicine) seem to be the right place to apply? No, it did not!
Not unless your already in or lucky.
No more patients being accepted....
They don't have enough staff (doctors) to cover the work load and are not taking in anymore people.
Amazing that we have over 500 doctors working in Lakeland and perhaps about 2,500 in Polk County over all. And they can only get a dozen (alternating) to volunteer their services.
A shame really. I guess volunteering does not pay the condo and cruise vacations along with that $3,000 set of golf clubs!?
Think about it though. When a person has exhausted all avenues of trying to work things out themselves and decide to ask for help and it's not there because no one wants to step up to the plate?

Try Central Florida Health Care, that is where I go and I pay $5 a doctor visit
