What is this?

I wonder if there is a bigger story behind this man and what actually happened.

Look at the mans face - is there is a story there!

You Bet

I don't judge people by their looks.
Especially mug shots.
I've known a few really bad cops.
The sure do exist.
But most are trying to do their best for everyone.
When your life is in danger they put it on the line.

All that being said this case is weird.
Criminals would love to zing it to a cop.
This cop was an investigator. He would be just the kind of cop criminals would want to tag.
Was he really involved ? I hope not.
If the evidence is there i hope they throw the book at him.
If he's innocent i hope they fully clear his name.
I'm on the fence on this one until more comes out.

May I ask you a question about your post? I see that you claim to have known some "really bad cops". How did you respond to that information once you knew?

you're totally incorrect. But don't feel bad you're not alone.
Hopefully unlike them you're smart enough to figure out this is a forum for topics and NOT about other posters..

THIS IS A TOPIC FORUM
This is not an education forum.
I'm not your teacher.
I'm NOT the topic of this thread or any other.
A topic forum is a place for people to post their OPINIONS on various topics.
You can create a topic or join in on one.

THIS TOPIC IS ABOUT COPS
its not about me so you have no reason to post about me.
So now go post about friendly or unfriendly cops.
Stay on topic. Read the article it doesn't mention me.

I believe this post was written as a personal vendetta against this particular officer. Cops piss off those that don't follow the law all the time. True Blue is just another one of those derelicts that has found himself on the wrong side of the law.

This wouldn't even be news had this not been an individual involved with law enforcement. Did he solicit sex - yes, it sounds like he did. Is there a bigger story that that - most likely not. Different departments have respect for one another, but they definitely won't let behavior like this slide. It was the mundelein police that made this arrest. Let the legal system work, and True Blue - don't try to make this look more sensational than it really is.

Sorry MM, I wrote the post and it is about ”who do you trust these days if not a friendly cop”

When a poster (like you) says that he knows “Really Bad Cops” I feel that is news-worthy, and I hope you notified someone about your ”Cop Friends” and the deeds they have done that you know were Really Bad.

I can only assume that you are affiliated with the Lake County Sheriff’s office, is that correct?

I am not a derelict (A person without a home, job, or property)

Where did you get your information about the crime?

This doesn't help justify it - but it looks like he has been divorced for a while.

The case against the officer is not falling apart. I don't think it's a bigger story than the fact that an officer entrusted by the public to uphold the law was breaking it. This is certainly a story we would be talking about if it was another every day citizen. The fact that it was an OFFICER of THE LAW makes it more newsworthy.

This article is irrelevant. The area is incorrect, and this particular story does not hint of anything involving a "code of silence". The article says his own department has requested he be fired.
