For those of you who are finding this difficult to undersand (just one person)
The idea is to discuss the red light camera issues with the businesses in the area in the hopes to garner their support with the village
I will be letting them know about the boycott discussions here so they understand that people are getting really frustrated with the cameras

I dont know what will come of it but its a start

1. Do Not Visit Lakemoor Businesses Until The Red Light Camera at Route 12 and 120 Is Removed. Be sure to let the businesses know that you won't be patronizing them due to the camera.
UNQUOTE

that is the real BS you guys have been pushing all along until I stepped in and disagreed with it.
Now you act like it is your last choice when all along its been your first choice.
You guys own the boycott idea.
And the stores know it.

You act like the posters on this forum have done some horrible thing. This was a discussion on the red light cameras and what could be done. A boycott? A discussion with the businesses? Whatever...who the heck cares? A boycott is still a possibility but hopefully can be avoided.

Its far more then a possibility with you guys.
Its your ONLY option you been discussing.
You guys own the boycott idea. Its your only idea.

Because you guy know there isn't a darn thing the stores can do to take away those cameras.
You guys wanted a boycott all along.

Yep that was my first thought. Then I thought we should let the businesses know ahead of time to try to get their support to go to the village to AVOID a boycott. Sorry you dont like the idea but i sure as heck do and so do others posting here. In other words i heard your opinion and disagree wholeheartedly.

You must be out of your mind if you honestly think the stores are going to support you once you tell them your FIRST and ONLY idea is a boycott and if they don't like it you'll do it.

Because you DON'T have a second idea.
Boycott is your only idea.
And that is why they'll never support you.

Actually i am starting to realize you are out of your mind. Im sure the businesses will be quite pleased that it was brought to their attention first and im confident they will be willing to discuss the issue with the village. But thanks for your input even though it doesnt make much sense.

ROTFL i would love to be there when you tell them you're going to boycott them.
Lets face the truth here.
You are never going to meet with them.
You're just full of BS
It pumps you up to pretend you can make stupid demands and threaten a boycott or else.
But the truth is they would throw you out on your rump if you did and you know it.
So you sound off here and pretend for your friends that you're going when your not.

Meanwhile the serious people just ignore you.
They know the only ones who can remove the lights are politicians not store owners.
And that is not ever going to happen as long as the lights make money off of the travelers.

As for me i'll do my part by voting against the politicians who put in the light.
Its the most any of us can do.

Well unlike you I think the business owners have a better mind than a 5 year old. I will be going to the next chamber meeting. You in the meantime you can continue sitting on the computer throwing your little tantrums.

I'm only one person and you can't even handle me.
How are you going to handle several businesses owners after you threaten their livelihood with a boycott ?
Seriously just answer that.

LOL how many names do you use ?
Lazy - Lilly - Didi - Duh - my many impersonators
the dead giveaway is pretty much the same message - same writing style

At lease NewsReader2011 and WayWardDaughter are different people with very different writing styles and different opinions.
While i certainly do disagree with both of them on a lot of issues i have found them to be respectful.
You could learn a lot about how to post in an open forum from those two.

As a registered member you should know that location can easily be changed several different ways on topix.
I really don't care what name you use. Or how many you use.
I even don't ever care about imposters i just ignore them.

What matters is the topic of the thread.
My posts have mostly been about a rebuttal to the only idea you put forth as a solution.
I see a boycott as harmful to those that depend on those stores for a job to support their families.
You have yet to even acknowledge that fact.
You seem to act like a boycott would only hurt the bottom line of those stores.
Maybe it will but long before it does those stores will let go workers who depend on them.

Most of all you totally ignore the only people who actually can get rid of the lights that being the politicians who put them there.
Obviously you ignore them because deep down you know they won't remove them for any reason.
Like it or not those lights are here to stay.
If anything we'll be getting more of them.
