<quoted text>your post actually proves my point about the GOP being desperate. All the GOP has now going for them is the economy and something that happened 6 weeks ago. All of the lies, the flip-flops, his hoof and mouth disease, and not being able to tell the people how he is actually going to accomplish what he says he is going to do is what will keep Romney from getting elected. And once again regarding F and F, Holder was cleared by a bi-partian group so I have no idea where a sham could be concocted. Thanks for being civil about stating your opinion because there are some real nuts on both sides of the fence and sometimes I have no problems confronting a joker.
Yes i agree the nut jobs are on both sides of the fence.
We'll just stick to honest respectful debating and lead by example.
If you believe in polls Romney is ahead in most of them so i doubt he feels desperate. Nor would Obama since the polls are still close.
F & F was a screw up and Obama owns it. Him and Holder might get away with it but they still screwed up.
I honestly admit some of Romney's flip flops do bother me. Espcially on Obamcare which seriously needs
to be overturned.
As for Behngaize you can't really be trying to dismiss it. The fact that its now 6 weeks later adds to the problem not takes it away. 4 people died that should not have died. That needs full disclosure. This is a president who ran on being transparent. We need to see those documents now.
If you really believe in Obama then you would feel he has nothing to hide and should prove it.
If ever there was a real single issue to base the character of a person to be president it would be would he send in support or not.
We need to know what really happened.

Why do you take everything posted in response to your post as a personal attack? Maybe you should read slowly instead of jumping to your defense. Once again, I am not interested in the blame game. And, contrary to your opinion, I am not nor have I ever been a Obama supporter. However, I will not jump on the blame Obama bandwagon. It's absolutely ludicrous. It's typical of the state of politics today. It's why I turn off the volume of my TV on every political commercial. Vote against someone instead of FOR someone. Instead of you and Mr Round Lake continually bashing Obama, why don't you try to explain your reasoning behind supporting Romney. Then, maybe you could have a rational discussion with someone.
Well when you say i'm angry and judgemental it does sound like a personal attack.
i assure you i'm NOT angry but i am passionate about my political beliefs.
And i already stated my views on the judgemental part. So we can move on now.
I'm not interested in the blame game but i believe in looking at the record of the guy in office to see if i want more of the same.
No i don't want Obamacare, taking over companies like GM, spending billions on goofy stimulis money, etc.
Romney's record is solid its what i what in a president.
Man who worked in the private sector and understands it. A man who ran a state and understands how government works,a man who ran the Olympics and understands how to work with other nations.
I'm happy to discuss Romney's record with you. I'm very positive about it. Is it perfect ? Heck No. As i stated his views on Obamacare worries me.

Obama can't run on his own record, if he did he would lose by a landslide.
All he's got is Bush and Clinton.
What a sad excuse for a current president.

As far as polls, who knows, EVERY major news networks and other political orgs. have got so many polls, nobody can keep up with it. I'll say its dead even....say 47%-47%(gotcha) There is so much swing nobody knows. I followed 2 sources today(Fox and MSNBC) of course Fox had Romney up, someone said it was a tie. MSNBC said by 5 people that Obama had anywhere from 279-290 electorial votes but they argued about what states who was ahead. As far as Benghazi, let the chips fall as they may. Here's the problem for the GOP: This in no way will be fully disclosed in 5 days. How long did F & F play out, all politics, that's the way it is. We might not even be breathing by the time they try to sort this Benghazi stuff out. Today its back to slam the opponent. I found it interesting though when both candidates made stops today, Mitt in West Virg. Obama in Green Bay. Mitt I thought actually had some fire, made some good jabs. Fox had Mitt's stop, so did Msnbc and CNN. The news-channels made their comments and about an hour later Obama was in Green Bay. Awesome powerful speech(sorry Im bias) made a Bears joke, praised the Packers, Charles Woodson for his donation to the Red Cross. Msnbc and CNN had Obama's stop. Fox was back in Jersey showing problems from Sandy. No Obama, a little mention later about it. Bengazi?? is something I'm not yet up to snuff on yet. He said/she said, who did/who didnt. I dont have a clue yet, although I find it intriquing with some of the armchair quarterbacks that already know what happened. Somebody knows, but how long will it take to find out. Years.

I agree that the Benghazi situation won't be resolved before the election. Although it easily could be.
The problem is if Obama wins Benghazi will be totally swept under the rug. Even now the main stream media mostly ignores it. If Obama wins all media will just move on and those heroes will just be a memory. If fact even if Romney wins it'll only be still a story if we can keep it going now and into his presidency.

I never believed much in polls. LOL i've never in all my 60 years been asked to take a poll. So how could they be accurate without me ? I'm not so sure its a dead heat. But a dead heat does play great for the media.

Shamelessly backing my guy. I think he has more fire in his belly then Obama does. He wants it more. Time will tell if that's enough.

As for swing votes/independent voters that's just B.S.
They know exactly who their guy is and always have. But its more fun to yank the chain of the pollsters. Makes them feel important and certainly gets them heard.

What probably will actually decide this will be which party has energized their base enough to go and vote. Especially if you're right about it being a 47/47 race.

And again to boost my guy i think my party is more energized.

Sure got quiet on this topic but one thing is for sure if nobody wants to work across the aisle in the House, most of those elections are up in two years and then Obama can have anything he wants passed with smooth sailing. GOP better be on their best behavior and start working with Obama.

You really want to go that far back just to make fun of someone who probably will never be back and never see your insults ?

Don't bother answering i prefer real debates not childish behavior.
I only mentioned it to demonstrate how your side is and why i don't converse with some of you.

Kinda like how Obama works both side of the aisle when he pushed through Obamacare ?

History usually show the mid term elections go against the incumbent.
So i'm looking forward to 2014 just like i did in 2010.

Hate to burst your kumbaya bubble but there are always sides to every issue.
There is and always will be at least two major political parties with various agendas.
There is and always will be different sides.
Try and get a grip on reality.

What has gotten us nowhere is Obama's unwilling to work with republicans.
A clear example of this is Obamacare when he had a majority in congress.
He could have chosen to be a bigger man and work with republicans but he choose not to.
And now that he is in for another four years watch how little he is going to be willing to work with republicans.

Sorry to see you leave.
I was hoping some day you would want to discuss the issues rather then lame attempts at making it personal.
There's so much to discuss too.
Will Obama ever have an economic plan ?
Will Obama's next Supreme Court pick be another super liberal ?
Will Obama admit Obamacare is a bad idea when it winds up costing us more then the plan we had before ?
Will Obama ever come clean about fast and furious
Will Obama ever come clean about the 4 dead in that embassy ?

So many serious issues and all you were concerned with were idiotic statements.
And i gave you every chance to talk about those issues instead of about me.
Well sorry to see you go.( betting you'll be back )

Hmmmm.... wonder if this is being suppressed because it could also impact the presidential voting records?

I thought only Chicago subscribed to "vote early, vote often"?

i almost laughed at the 141 % turnout
Yep sure sounds like the Chicago i grew up in.
Does make you wonder how wide spread this kind of corruption is.
Maybe Dick Morris had it right all along ??

But its best to just swallow it and rethink of how to improve it so it doesn't happen again.

Dude, really? You're sticking with this issue?

Tell me you voted for John Kerry in 2004 because the Bush administration was asleep at the switch for 9/11, and I'll start taking you seriously on this. Otherwise, it's just more hypocrisy from the Fox News - Dick Morris - Glenn Beck media cocoon, where a debacle that costs four lives in a hostile foreign country is an impeachable offense for a Democrat, but a Republican who drops the ball is not to blame for thousands of lost lives on our home soil.

Seriously, man, this is why your guy lost the election, and why it surprised you (and him) so much. You guys live inside a conservative media bubble and never hear anything from outside it, or you'd know that nobody besides you blames Obama very much for Benghazi. Harping on it doesn't convince anyone of anything other than that you look obsessed and fanatic.

Inside that cozy little media pocket, it looks to you like everyone agrees with you. Well, they don't, and to watch you rattle off Limbaugh talking points as if no true American could believe anything else just shows that you don't venture out of that pocket very much, if at all. You don't actually speak for America, and you certainly don't have a monopoly on defining what America is or should be. That's up to Americans, and they just told you they don't like what you have to offer.

But please, feel free to double down on it. See how that works out for you next election.

I may be wrong but I believe that it was 17 or 18 times Obama tried getting bills passed by the House and was denied every time. I dont think for one moment that this "fiscal cliff" will happen. Boehner has no choice but to work with Obama because of what happened in the elections, not only did Mitt lose(who was that guy?) but the GOP lost numbers in both the Senate and the House. I think this was quite a wake-up call to the GOP. Im sure that everybody wants fiscal-responsibility but when the GOP would not budge on an increased tax for the people who could afford it the most it left a foul taste for many. Obama will get the tax increase he wants and the GOP will get something they want and everybody will sit around the campfire for awhile and sing kumbaya
