Libya good point on Obama using Bush as just a diversion from his own failed four years.
That blaming the former presidents usually only works for the first year. After that whomever the current president is has to take the RESPONSIBILITY for his office.
idiot watch are you saying you think Obama and Romney are two cookie cutters, meaning one of the same ?
Wow you are the first person i've seen who thinks those two are cookie cutters.
I'm very huge on telling people to vote even if they are going to vote against my guy.
Its an American right. We should never take it for granted. Its been earned over and over again by the blood of our military.
But in your case you are thinking of sitting it out. Since its your decision i'll go with it. You probably should sit it out.
Now as for the mess Obama walked into. It would be great if that was the mess Romney was walking into. But its not. He's walking into Obama's mess.
Not millions in debt but billions. Even higher unemployment. A middle east that's even more unstable. A Supreme Court that's falling apart. A healthcare system that is going to bankrupt us as companies turn away from providing health care to workers they once had health insurance plans for.
I'll bet Romney would rather face the last year of Bush then face the last year of Obama.
#42 Oct 30, 2012
It's not Obama's mess, it's Bush's. We were billions in debt when he took office. You seem to think all the above started while obama was in office. You are wrong. It all started when Bush was in office, and he just walks away and leaves us with it.
As for the cookie cutters remark "If the Republicans could have found a decent candidate I'd vote for him. I won't vote for these two cookie cutters". It's pretty self explanatory.

you need to to get over Bush.
He's not even on the ticket.
Guys like you might fool the news media but you don't fool me. You are not a Republican and you would never have voted Republican. You're a democrat through and through. Your blame Bush is the giveaway on that.
Obama owns the mess he's in. He had a congress with a super majority. He could and did pass everything he wanted. He failed period.
So lets talk about Benghazi.
You can't blame Bush for that can you ? That's why you and your news media pals try and ignore it.
I was in my early 20's during the Nixon years. I remember Watergate like it was yesterday. They ran Nixon out of office.
No one died.
Obama refused to send in help. Then lied about it. 4 Americans died.
Obama tried covering it all up blaming a filmmaker.
A filmmaker exercising his legal right of freedom of speech even if it was a lousy film.
He even put that filmmaker's family in jeopardy.
Hilary Clinton even told the Marine's dad they would get that filmmaker who had zero to do with that attack.
Obama totally owns it.
That situation alone is cause enough to run him out of office faster then Nixon was.
And the reason why Obama is lying is because he doesn't want to tarnish his record on terrorist. Its easier to blame an innocent filmmaker then take the responsibility for allowing those 4 men to die.
So go ahead try and blame everything on Bush.
Real Republicans don't fall for it anymore.
We've seen Obama's record of failures and lies.
#44 Oct 30, 2012
LOL, me and my news media pals? I'm not blaming everything on Bush, just the mess he left. We've all seen it yet YOU fail to acknowledge it. Anyone with any kind of economic sense can see it. BTW, Nixon has been gone awhile too. Get over it.
As for Obama, I didn't vote for him four years ago, and I won't be voting for him next week. I just like to see things as they are, not play a blame game. I'll leave that to you and Mr. Round Lake.
#45 Oct 30, 2012
You don't play the blame game ?
how about this quote of yours in post #42
It's not Obama's mess, it's Bush's.
As for Nixon i neither blamed him nor condemned him in my post all i did was state a historical fact that he was forced out of office for his lying.
While your pal Obama's screwed up led to 4 Americans dying.
Then he went on to lie about his involvement.
He still won't accept the responsibility for it.
That is why guys like you can't wait to point your finger at Bush all the time.
You hope it'll take everyone's attention to the screw up of Obama.
Well many of us don't give a darn about Bush.
He ain't even running for office.
But we do care about the record Obama tries to hide from.
And seriously you are so in the tank for Obama its laughable.
But just like a true democrat you won't admit it.
I proudly state where i stand.
As for the round lake person you refer to he can speak for himself.
I may like what he says but those are his words not mine.
I don't speak for him and he doesn't speak for me.
I suggest you direct your comments about him to him.
#46 Oct 30, 2012
More of your blaming Bush
from post # 37
All thanks to the Bush Administration.
And again from post # 42
It all started when Bush was in office,
three direct quotes of yours blaming Bush.
So much for you not playing the blame game.
#47 Oct 30, 2012
I was being facetious.
My comments are directed at the forum.
I guess you have too much time on your hands....
My "pal" isn't running for office so I don't know why you keep referring to him but, oh well.
You sound like a very angry and judgemental person so I guess there is no use discussing things further. See you next week!
#48 Oct 31, 2012
LOL so now its going to be personal attacks on me.
Is that all you democrats got ?
Can't discuss issues ?
Hey i'm looking forward to next week when Obama gets crushed by the election.
So when is you guy going to release the transcripts when he gave the order to save our people Benghazi.
He promised TRANSPARENCY in his presidency.
Why won't you talk about this ?
I know why you can't find a way to link it to Bush.
For the record this is a topic driven forum we're suppose to have judgmental opinions in here. That's the whole purpose of this kind of a forum. You may think you're attacking me by saying that, but to me its a badge of honor. Its means i'm right on target.

The GOP will try anything to get something to stick on the wall. Remember awhile back when "Fast and Furious" was such a hot topic?? Remember Issa going after more of Holder's documents(after Holder already gave him 7000 pages) only later on to find out that the bi-partisian study completely absolved Holder on everything?? Now we have Issa(a.k.a. Chief Barking Dog) hot on the trail again looking for anything(and fast mind you because election day is fast approaching). I say let this play out and see what really happened. Sure if you watch Fox you will see that Dan Senor "Chief Fox news contributor" will throw the blame on Obama. He has to because he is also a senior Romney advisor just like other "Fox News Contributors". The GOP will throw anything out there but here is the facts: Clinton leaves office, we have a surplus. Bush comes in, we get attacked, get into a war where THOUSANDS of OUR men and women are sacrificed, suffer greatest economic disaster since the depression. Obama gets in, has to clean up the mess he was given, doing the dirty work, yes it has been slower than anticipated(by GOP standards of course) but the economy is coming back. Now the GOP wants to come in and take over???? Plus Romney has the hots to get into it with China??? Plus he insults most of the middle class including women, seniors, students, teachers, police, firem en,federal, state and local employees and then wants to give a tax break to the wealthy?? I dont like that scenario and I dont think the general public wants that either.

Your brain seems to be stuck.
Lets review again:
Bush wars. Started when 4 aircraft seized by Muslim extremists crashed killing 3,000 people and damaging or destroying multiple national icon structures including two 110 story buildings which crashed to the ground taking thousands of lives with them.
Obama's partial record of failures:
23 million people out of work
46 million living in poverty
Now 5 TRILLION $ more in debt, the fastest debt accumulation in the history of the world.
America weakened and despised internationally
A plan for more of the same going forward.
Tax cuts for the "rich". Most small business' profits, including mine and tens of millions of others, flows through as personal income (S Corporation). I have to feed my family, pay my bills, and grow my company with that money. The less I have, the less I can spend on things like HIRING WORKERS. I personally paid over $50,000 in income taxes last year and because my business, like most in this poor economy, is struggling, i have little left to give to a wasteful government and the many people who would like ALL of my money for what they believe are their entitlements. The worst part is if you got all that the Democrats want from "the rich", it would only keep the country going for a few days, so large is the waste brought on by Democrats and Republicans. Take more from me and I'll have to CUT JOBS in my company.
Hope I have made myself CLEAR.
ROMNEY/ RYAN 2012
#51 Oct 31, 2012
Welcome back its been a while since you posted.
i'll be 61 next month in some circles ( especially my favorite restaurants ) i'm considered a senior. And i'm middle class so i qualify on both those right ? I don't in the least bit feel offended by Romney.
Sad to see you towing the democrat line of blaming Bush.
Last time i look Bush wasn't running for ANY office.
But glad to see you willing to at least mention Benghazi. I watch ALL the news outlets not just Fox. I'm sure you do too.
The point i'm making is Obama ran for office saying he was the transparent guy. Well then release the transcript its been 6 weeks now. That's more then enough time. Same with fast & furious that too took forever. BTW that clearing of Holder was a sham. It will come back to bit him someday.
Please lets just deal with one issue at a time ( for space )
What about those transcripts why not just release them especially if they'll prove Obama did give a green light to protecting our people. I would also expect Romney to do the same if he was the president. I like transparency.
Thanks in advance for keeping this friendly without insults or personal attacks.

Those are points the liberal news media won't go near.
Taxing the rich is nickle and dime stuff the our national debt.
All that will do is force businesses to go foreign countries, go broke, cut workers.
It certainly won't encourage businesses to hire more workers.
I would love to see a liberal explain how that would happen.
I will agree with doing something like taxes for companies that move BUT only if we reward those that stay.
It has to be a double edge sword.
There are other things too.
Obamacare will make companies stop offering health care benefits.
People have no idea what Obamacare really meant.
Yes it means everyone is entitled to have healthcare. BUT not free healthcare. You have to buy it. And the days of companies chipping in are ending. And if you don't buy it you go to jail.
So if you have a middle class job wait until you see what the FULL cost of a health plan is. I bet most middle class worker have never seen what that full cost.
#55 Oct 31, 2012
How soon we forget that but on Obama's watch, Bin Laden was captured, we are out of Iraq, and we are getting out of Afghanistan. Regarding your business, that must suck, but while some businesses are struggling many are not(including ours). Perhaps you are doing something wrong or your accountant is behind the times. Yes, we struggled too,but we stepped back, seen what was/what wasn't working and now doing much better. We also were frugal on what were doing with our personal income. So as far as making yourself clear, you are, and seems maybe you need to take a step back and reavaluate your situation and quit blaming Obama for your troubles.
#56 Oct 31, 2012
your post actually proves my point about the GOP being desperate. All the GOP has now going for them is the economy and something that happened 6 weeks ago. All of the lies, the flip-flops, his hoof and mouth disease, and not being able to tell the people how he is actually going to accomplish what he says he is going to do is what will keep Romney from getting elected. And once again regarding F and F, Holder was cleared by a bi-partian group so I have no idea where a sham could be concocted. Thanks for being civil about stating your opinion because there are some real nuts on both sides of the fence and sometimes I have no problems confronting a joker.
#57 Oct 31, 2012
Why do you take everything posted in response to your post as a personal attack? Maybe you should read slowly instead of jumping to your defense. Once again, I am not interested in the blame game. And, contrary to your opinion, I am not nor have I ever been a Obama supporter. However, I will not jump on the blame Obama bandwagon. It's absolutely ludicrous. It's typical of the state of politics today. It's why I turn off the volume of my TV on every political commercial. Vote against someone instead of FOR someone. Instead of you and Mr Round Lake continually bashing Obama, why don't you try to explain your reasoning behind supporting Romney. Then, maybe you could have a rational discussion with someone.
#58 Oct 31, 2012
Not a chance. Obama is at the root of all of our issues. Our customers are petrified as well as they assess the cost of Obamacare. The issue is government waste and encroachment in business. Obama has zero business experience so it is hard to expect more at this point. I do NOT want four more years of his spending and driving to more and more government control. Years ago
I started and ran a business in Russia. Got a first hand look at socialism. An unmitigated disaster. Just like Obama
Thanks for your concern. I have been in business 11 years and know what I am doing. Too bad the US Government doesn't know what it is doing.
#59 Oct 31, 2012
Petrified??? Really??? Please, you say you've been in business for 11 years and you know what your doing, but your struggling and you blame Obama??? LOL!!! I think your problem is your lousy attitude/lack of knowledge of how to keep your business successful. In good or hard times, one must constantly assess his individual situation to see how he/she can keep up with the constantly changing scope of the business climate and your customers needs and wants. Its quite apparent that something isnt clicking with your business.
#60 Oct 31, 2012
Did anybody catch the stunts that Romney pulled today? Created a photo-op "showing him collecting" food for the residents affected by the hurricane AND telling the people of Ohio that Jeep in going to move their plant to China. More lies, more cheap stunts. Cant wait for the GOP to gang up on Christie for being with Obama touring New Jersey.
