I usually stay away from threads where its more like a blog then a debate.
The real point here is the waste of money the government leaders spend on themselves.
Not just in vacation travel plans which they all do but also in other items.
Such as health care. Why should they have free health care ? Let them buy the same plan we buy using the money out of their salaries and not as an added benefit.
Private jets ? Why can't they fly commercial like the rest of us ?
Let them buy their own cars out of their salaries.
Let them pay for their staff workers out of their own pockets.
We could sure save a lot of money if they all paid their own way using their salaries and not just dipping again and again into taxpayers money.

The president needs to lead by example. The idiot in the job reminds me of the captain of the Costa Concordia. He will be the first one off the sinking ship when the US finally collapses under the weight of its mounting debt. Why should any of the rest of the idiots in DC exercise any fiscal prudence when the head man has no bounds?

Obama and every single elected official in Washington (and Springfield) should be sent home and replaced with people who actually can think. They may be hard to find however, given the number of goofs who reelected the worst leader the US has EVER had.
