Why is everyone is such a hurry these days and people driving on bumpers of cars in front of them?
Please be mindful folks that the car in front of you could have parent(s) with babies or small children on there way home not to mention senior passengers.
Also, get your headlights, taillights fixed too.
Had a car in front of me where only the left brake light was working.
Oh and racing to cut in front of you when its a 2 lane highway going down to a one lane due to construction like on Grand Avenue heading into Lindenhurst. Almost got hit last night as 2 cars were speeding and swerved around me when it was going down to 1 lane trying to be first.
Slow down folks ! Please be courteous out there.

I totally agree with you.
I'm really bothered by tailgaters lately.
Sooner or later we're going to get a lot of ice and snow on the roads.
Lets be careful and give a bit more room between you and the car in front of you.
Lets be more safe out there.

that corner always had it share of accident.
Here's one from a couple of yrs ago.
Why can't they have a local cop or a county cop watching that corner during rush hours ?

I am not sure if it was at the corner or not. But it had to happen early like 5am or so. I know flight for life was going there. This is the second accident bad one in the last 6 months in that stretch of roadway there.

I do a lot of driving on a daily basis. The amount of people who tailgate when they can't possibly go anywhere amazes me. It could be a line of traffic a mile long in front of me and there is still some jerk right on my tail.
I often wonder if they even teach how dangerous this practice is in drivers ed classes.

driver's ed in public schools is a joke.
I had my kid learn in a private school.
Took a lot of grief from Grant for doing that but it was worth it.
She drove at 15 1/2 and is now 30 yrs old and never had an accident.
Worth every dime.
Forget public schools for drivers ed get your kid private school lessons.
