this is exactly my point, Greg rips you off and when you call him out on it he becomes angry and refuses to help you. Its a shame that he closed on Sunday to attend Church, what he really needs is to go to confession.

greg and mrs it are liers and thiefs they sold me a used tiller they said worked really good! so i bought it for their price got it home worked 30 minutes and stop running. I called him he came and got it and said he would fix it.He brought it back 2 weeks later and it ran maybe another 30 minutes.so this time i got someone else to look at it. they fixed it in ten minutes. then 6 months later he came by my house and asked me when was i going to take care of the bill. i said never because he said it ran and it did not. he said it did when it left the shop.he seen me in wallmart at christmas and made a scene about it i told him to get him and mrsit out of my face or i would punch him in the face.told him he was a sorry lair and i would never do buss. with again and that i would tell everyone i know.i hear he has lot of gov.buss because of him and mrs it attiude.and poor buss practices.

Customer service SUCKS!
Greg talks out of both sides of his mouth and

IF you want to pay MSRP for every item, be treated like a chump for warranty or non warranty issues and have every engine issue revolve around "bad Gas" than Antioch Small Engine Repair is a place for You

I just received a letter from TORO today. They are sending me a check for the money Antioch Small Engine repair STOLE from me when they LIED about my warrantee coverage. How does this thief go to church every Sunday and steal money all week from people who are dumb enough to go into his and her shop. If anyone ever deserved to be run out of business it's those two rotten crooks.

when I didn't know better I went back to see Greg about another problem I had with my mower. it cost me another $20.00 for him to tell me that I was using bad gas again, either Antioch has the worst gas in the state or Greg uses the same sample of bad gas for an example to everyone. I hope more people come forward with their experiences with ANTIOCH SMALL ENGINE REPAIR.

I took my snowblower to them for a belt and tuneup. When I picked it up and got it home I noticed it was not the one I brought in. I called and talked to Tina and she said how did I know it was the wrong one! I said I record the serial # of my equip. in the manual... I still had a hassle with her!! We purchased several big ticket items from them and will never go back again....Plus, their entire area around the shop is a discrace!! That should tell you something!!

I was talking to a frind of mine, he told me that he brought his snowblower in for repair at Antioch Small Engine Repair, Greg told him it wasn't worth fixen. he told Greg to keep it for scrap, a few weeks later, he drove by the shop and noticed his old snowblower on the lot for sale. by the way he still had to pay Greg $20.00 to get it stuck in his ass. Remember closed on Sunday for church.

It sickens me that Greg has such a poor customer relationship. If companys like Stihl, Toro, Husqvarna actually know how he treats his customers with warranty and non warranty issues I bet they wouldnt allow him to be an authorized dealer for them.

I wish this topic had been here sooner! I am new to the area and brought my lawnmower in for repair. I did think the $20 bucks for the estimate was ridiculous but I paid it anyway. I thought the half hour lecture on how to put gas in my lawnmower was a little crazy too. I'm sure none of you will be surprised to hear that after I paid the $20 bucks I was told it probably wasn't worth it to get it fixed. After reading all these posts it has occurred to me that my lawnmower is probably sitting in front of their shop for sale.

the reason Greg is uptight with everyone that walks in his shop is because he is slick, he figures that if he starts with the bad gas in tour tank thing and sees that your buying into his bullshit he knows he has you. don't forget I took my mower in for a tune up and wheels, when his dropped it off at my house (another $20.00) it ran like shit, I called Greg and told him about it running bad, he said I was using bad gas. IT WAS HIS GAS!!!!!!!!! the idiot doesn't even realize what he is saying.

As an ASE certified Master Automobile Mechanic I can honestly say "what the hell is bad gas?" Bad gas smells! I have stored lawnmowers for a YEAR and had them start and run. Bad gas smells like varnish. 2 week old gas works just fine. 6 month old gas as well. When gas goes bad it changes color and gains odor. Bad gas exists, but if kept in a sealed container such as a gas can it will stay good for well over a month.I would say for 3 months tops.

I could not find any definitive time frame for storing gas, but it does go bad. Using gas more than a year old can damage your engine. You can add fuel additives that can extend storage life and not interfere with performance, but I would not trust those past 6 months.

There are bacteria in the air that break down gasoline, and other processes. Higher temperatures can speed up these processes. The link below contains what Chevron has to say about it. I hope this helps.

No matter how you look at it..... if you bought the gas this season, it should be good.
