i think the ticket cameras make it even worse for accidents. the intersection of rt. 12 and 120 is not designed for all the traffic it gets. ironically you can receive a ticket if you are turning right to 120 but hardly ever if you are turning on yellow or red to the left on 12. i think its because they know they cannot handle the traffic going on that direction anyway. i called lakemoor's police station to complain. march was still when the system was set up and it wasn't clear because they had a small white sign that was confusing. i admit i turned right wrongly once but 3 more tickets is ridiculous, i called to tell them this was just revenue making and they said no one had complained before. i see complaints online but there would be a record if you can call the police station and complain, you don't have to give them your ticket number and can dial *67 first so that your number shows private. this is obviously too much power and they need to start being a little more flexible or else closing that intersection because the traffic is horrible.

Our family has revived 4 tickets violating the right lane turn on 120. My 95 year old grandfather received the $100.00 fine and was so visibly upset that I contacted the phone # on the paperwork. They told us that nothing could be done. He lives on social security and has never received a ticket in his long life. It is disgraceful that Lakemoor is ripping off law abiding drivers. Someone needs to investigate the police department and or the Village of Lakemoor.

Investigate? Really? It's a red light ticket you friggin Moran! And why is your 95 year old granny driving still? Somebody should investigate you for elder abuse! It's real simple all you have to do is make a complete stop before turning. What's also funny is that Lakemoor only has the one red light camera while towns like Lake Zurich and Gurnee have them at damn near every light. I don't hear anybody complaining about them! You all sound like a bunch of stuck up suburban cry babies. Grow up!!
