Sad the school board has decided these dedicated teachers aren't to be properly compensated. Too bad the board had chosen to harm the children and the community by refusing accept the recommendations of the federal mediator. I hope the distrcts voters choose to replace the entire board in April.

Driving down Rt. 83 by Frederick and GMS today sickened me. These teachers on the side of the road look like they're having a tailgate party while our kids are sitting at home wanting to go back to school. You should have seen the smiles on their faces...clapping and chanting, and getting their egos higher and higher by the sound of car horns beeping in their support. Support of what? Shame on them all! You can vote for a new School Board, but years of mismanagement isn't going to clear up overnight, and don't blame the new board members for the mismanagement. For the sake of our children, teachers get back to work! You're having too much fun on the side of road, and it shows!
