ummm im from mundelin and there is a presence of some real gangs and alot of wannabes. I wud say there are more thugs(kids selling drugs, fighting ect), than bangers but still alot of bangers. From wat i here rl is worse tho

Round Lake for sure has more crime than Mundelein. All the bangers from Mundelein go hang out in Round Lake to star problems and the ones from Round Lake go to Mundelein to stay out of trouble.

You need to be specific. Most of the gang trouble in the Round Lake area is in Round Lake Park and Round Lake Beach.

Having some truly inside knowledge I will confirm what Just Sayin writes. Not to dismiss you Inside Man, the problem is not just area wide but a national problem. So, are there gang issues in RL? Yes. But the more affected areas are the Beach and the Park. However, RL is catching up.

I have been living, observing and been involved with the youth in my community for the last 30 years, but thanks for the advice.

Round lake and mundelein are pretty much the country and I despise both those little far flung suburban towns.

venture south you far flung suburbanites, into Cook County suburbs and chicago, and you'll see real ghettos.

what is there, one shooting every 10 years in round lake and mundelein? do your research, spend time in other areas.

There has been 26 shootings in round lake beach since jan. 1st 2010 granted no murders still its only a matter of time.

if you knew rl you would know that rlb is worst just by driving threw i have lived in ingelside 1 year rlp rlb and rl the rest of my life and i just turned 31 gang wise rlb is the worst .

I agree we are no ghetto but we are worst then 1 shooting a year by far but if the people here went to a real ghetto maybe they would get what ur saying obviously they don't know what a ghetto truley is
